But the bottom line is that it takes more than two or three people to filibuster successfully.

Correct it takes sixty. He is about 50 short.

so it looks like the republicans can no longer trust the democrats to keep their end of a bargain. is the political effect of prolonging a losing fight worth the cost in knowing that from now on none of them can be trusted, none of them can be counted upon?

talk about being shortsighted and petty.

republicans need to start portraying democrats in this light - untrustworthy, and incapable of ahdering to their sides of a deal - not to mention whining brats.

Kerry's "legacy" (reputation) is cast in stone. A traitorous liberal opportunist and committed North East socialist, his chicanery and lies will ride to his grave marker, that is if Terrreeereezzzaaaaa will even buy him one...

Is this a parody? can't be ... possibly an email from the Democrats that they 'wish' he would send? I only ask since I am sure that isn't his salutation and signature!! ;-)

we have every right -- in fact, we have a responsibility -- to fight against a radical ideological shift on the Supreme Court.

Riiiggghhht....because we don't want RADICAL IDEOLOGY in the Supreme Court!! Nope. No, sir....we don't want that....

Sounds like there aren't very many who want to ride in the same car as Kennedy.

Effin' has NO CLUE what the American people want. When's the last time he listened to an average citizen's opinion on anything?
I'm sorry Massachusetts, but IMHO, you are wasting two productive senate seats on two incoherent elitist snobs. IMHO.

It's amazing to see firsthand just how shallow the Democrats really are. The bitch is that if Senator Kerry (D. Viet) decides to run again, he'll insist on making campaign stops all over the country, which means joint appearances with local Democrat candidates.

How many Democrats are anxious to have Senator Kerry join their re-election campaign stops? How many won't have a choice in the matter?

Too much like fun...

I liked it much better when he was absent most of the time and really didn't care what went on the senate. Now that he's trying to act like a Senator, he's actually kind of scary--I'm sorry I meant moron--he's actually kind of a moron.

Kerry and his compadres are so out of touch in the leftist meanderings they would not recognize the swift current of the mainstream of America if they saw it.

My question is this;

How do the majority of MA voters put up with these two lightweight, half-witted, impossible-to-embarass, softballers?

Petitions are so 1960's. It they really bore any weight, we could start one in response and bury him.

He's got no money
He's got no home
Spinning wheel
All alone
Talkin' 'bout his troubles and
He'll never learn
Ride a painted pony
Let the spinning wheel turn
