HILLARY'S PLANTATION
The uproar continues today over the comments made by New York Senator Hillary Clinton at a Martin Luther King Day event on Monday. Or does it? Here is what she said:
"When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation, and you know what I'm talking about."
Oh really? A plantation! You don't say. And what does the line "and you know what I'm talking about" mean? Does she mean the Republicans in the House are the masters and the Democrats the slaves? Maybe she means that black elected officials are considered second class in the House. We all know what's behind the comments ... racial pandering. The Hildabeast is using racial code words, racially inflammatory words, to create and promote the image of Republicans as anti-black.
Perhaps the real story is the media coverage, or the lack thereof. Right now, if you take a cursory glance of the mainstream media, Hillary's remarks are receiving very little coverage. Now imagine if Bill Frist, Trent Lott, Dennis Hastert or Tom DeLay had said it. The media would be demanding their resignation.
So Hillary makes racist remarks...and the leftist press punches her pass. Biased, liberal media? You bet.
Hillary needs to tell Bill to stop visitin' those cabins out back.
Maybe she meant that the liberal vote is only worth 3/5 of what it used to be.
It has often been said that the MSM has a double standard because it has no standards.

Ummmm, no, not really. That comment makes no sense! The "smartest woman in the world" was CLEARLY wanting to say the word plantation, whether it made sense or not.

It won't take much, really. Get her mad while she's making a speech and she sounds like somebody's 1st wife. Notch it up and she will use the F-word like she does in private. A level sane man could do it on purpose. That's why she is so protected by her staff. A BIG weakness.

Funny, but I don't remember any huge plantations or haciendas being part of our cityscape, or ornate, antebellum mansions overlooking the BQE or Belt Pkway, or even many indebted sharecroppers taking the IRT.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the people who commute into Manhattan from the outer boroughs aren't going to be tilling the soil, or picking cash crops when they arrive at work, right?
Am I the only one who finds her comments a bit odd?
