Funny, but I don't remember any huge plantations or haciendas being part of our cityscape, or ornate, antebellum mansions overlooking the BQE or Belt Pkway, or even many indebted sharecroppers taking the IRT.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the people who commute into Manhattan from the outer boroughs aren't going to be tilling the soil, or picking cash crops when they arrive at work, right?

No, you're not the only one. I've been scratching my head for two days now trying to figure out how the House of Representatives could be run like a plantation. It makes no sense to me. I guess I'm too literal.

In a literal sense you're correct - there is no plantation or anything like it. In a broader sense there's really no mystery what the smartest woman in the world was up to.

Well, I think minorities in the Democrat party are not only taken for granted, but they also seem to maintain a victim identity.
Seems that is "She who may not be named" just doing the typical Democrat thing in talking down to the minorities who will eat it up.
I think better time could have been spent making sure their kids were doing homework and attending school.
