A university that allows an entire department, as I understand it, to employ Marxists (Political Science), is being consistent when it brings the Banana Man on campus.

Aw geez!!! My grand-daughter goes to Duke!! She's too busy with her studies to be very politically active right now, but I know she'll not appreciate the likes of beleafonte being a featured guest at her school! Nor will her folks!

I can't help but wonder who books these @$$-holes!! If he were a live, would they book Hitler to preach his message to our youth.

MLK was a plagiarist. Entire sections of his dissertation were copied from others. Interesting that a university would choose to honor that.

As a University of Kentucky basketball fan (even when they suck really bad. Like this year) it's almost like a solemn duty to hate Duke. This just adds to it...

I dislike Belafonte but he actually was a good friend of MLKs.

In North Carolina, it is better known as Robert E. Lee's Birthday Holiday.

Well now we get the singular treat of seeing Hairy Blabafonte step and fetch for the White Trash at Duke?

What a laugh!

I wish Anne Coulter would appear as his follow up speaker!

MLK, Jr was a Christian Republican. He would probably agree that Muslim and Atheist liberals were maligning him and everything for which he stood.

Belafonte is now indistinguishable from Jesse Jackson and certain other race pimps prominent in our society.

I think that a great man such as Martin Luther King would disavow such persons if he were alive today.

You all need to get away from dissing Martin Luther King.

He was not a perfect man, but he was more admirable than any prominent person that I can think of.

I think that MLK was awesome, and he was one of the true great men in my lifetime.
