I've always thought him to be an incredibly smart man always looking out for the helpless. Bryd only looks out for himself
BTW .. he also filibustered the Civil Rights Act for 14 straight hours

Someone on the Republican side should ask for another day of hearings. The longer this goes on, the better Alito and the Republicans look and the worse the 'Rats look.
Just kidding, of course. Alito has better things to do than waste his time listening and responding to this crap.
To: Carolinamom
Well, they've decided to move the cameras and show the smiling face of Mrs. Alito!

Have the Dems plowed any new ground today?I'm not sure, but I think they're busily digging themselves into a hole.

Did I say I was making fun of him? I was talking about the texture of that hair and how you can tell the diff on this type of tv. My mother has cancer, has lost much of her hair but wears a turbin and btw, jokes about it. Lighten up.

Here's a question to ponder...O'Connor announced her decision to retire when her successor was confirmed...So after Alito is confirmed..purely hyupothetically...if she refused to retire....took a mulligan..decided that she wanted to stay on..what would happen? I think that after this confirmation, congress should address the issue..no more "if/then" retirements..

And now a word from our real Sponsors of Free Speech
The Men and Women who serve,
and have served, our country
are the ones who make sure that
the Politicans and Judges are free to do their job.
We would not have a US Supreme Court
without the protection of the Military.
Politicans and Judges are safe
because of the Military who protect them.
TEST : Call your Senator or Congressman's office
AFTER 5 PM, or on the weekend.
IF you speak to an actual person, ask who's in charge today?
Now look up the phone number
of your local military base.
Call that number 24/7
and ask the live voice you get
to speak with the person in charge.
Send a Thank You while you enjoy your Freedom also.
