Day 3: Questioning Continues
This morning, Round 1 concludes with Senators on the Judiciary Cmte. who did not question nominee Alito yesterday. During Round 2, questioning is limited to 20 minutes for each of the eight- een senators. Chairman Arlen Specter (R-PA) leads off, followed by the others, alternating by party in order of seniority.

JB: This magnificently attractive, intellectually and physically, a beautiful young girl, was a sophomore, was showing us around. And I figured we've got a lock now (laughing). Graham was excellent...but Cornyn was superb, especially as the way he completely rebutted every lie of Schumer..Chuckie had his charts, but so did Cornyn..think that wasn't carefully planned??..the GOP knows the enemy..Cornyn played John Fox to Schmuckie's Tom Coughlin..completely outcoached and outclassed him..
Today we have Brownback AND Coburn....should be good....
any more news on the Dems plan to cancel the 3rd round..throw in the towel..if they do, it will drive their base insane..

Schumer beat that. He had 55 of them.
They are currently complaining that Alito is boring because he is so well educated and technical that when he answers the question, the members of the committee don't know enough about the law to understand his answers.
Oh good one. I had not looked closely and just figured it was his Depends hanging out.

I listened on XM (Foxnews on the radio) and all Biden did was pontificate, wonder out loud and preach. Yet, somehow, I missed Chucky Scmuck's questioning. (Probably busy working) I'm relatively sure it couldn't have been any different.
