Maybe I missed something, but the most important SJC issue I believe is Kelo vs New London, yet I haven't heard a word about it in the hearings. All I hear about is abortion and affirmative action. And, as a white male it sickened me to hear Senator Leahy pine about how he wished for a "diversity pick". It's pathetic that the religious right, the pro-abortion feminists and the race pimps are a higher priority than the real people issues like Kelo.

While working out this morning I watched Paul Begala and James Carville w/ Katie Couric (nice balance, eh?) Absolutely freaking hilarious!! The 'Rats "dynamic duo" both admitted Alito was going to get confirmed. They distorted what happened at the hearings pretty severely, but it's clear that the 'Rats are out of ideas.

So these two geniuses were also plugging their book, which states that the 'Rats should abandon ideas as unimportant (i.e. they have none) and just grow a spine and fight -- for what, they don't seen to care.

Katie also played Jay Leno's clip from last night, where Jay mentioned the 'Rats are concerned about the Endangered Species Act becuase they are on it! Katie mouthed the conventional wisdom on the Left, which is that the 'Rats are getting their butts kicked. The boo-birds have come out on the Left!!

Wasn't 2006 supposed to be the year the 'Rats took over Congress?? LOLOLOL!!!!! LOSERS!!!

Boiled down, this hearing is all about death. The cult of death and murder (abortion) is personified in the Dem ghouls sitting on this committee.

Death by abortion is at the basis of every question they ask, even "what time is it?".

Several of the brain-dead, over-the-hill Democrat Lords even look like they've been embalmed already, with only TV makeup giving a clue they're still breathing.

I have posted a kind of rant in the general/chat section on Stare Decisis and how the DemonRats are so ignorant they can't grasp it's concept. I think it is a nice read, but then again I wrote it.

I DO feel constrained to remark that the good judge is a little politically tone-deaf when it comes to replying to sympathetic Pub questions which set him up for a short, honest, positive reply. He's making the mistake of re-trying the cases referred to and not getting the point of the assistance the questioner is trying to give him.

I wish he'd not go into such excruciating case detail which uses up the time of the Republican senator. Better to filibuster with mind-numbing detail when a DimBulb is the questioner.

Brownback was just setting up some good questions to get to a positive point and he had to jerk Judge Alito back from an eyeglazing replaying of some case he was involved with. The judge never had a clue of the set-up Brownback was weaving.

The judge's "shepherds" should have a little talk with him during potty break. It's too late in the hearing for the judge to give overly-long, detailed answers to every single question being thrown at him. The more he talks now, the more his remarks will be under scrutiny. There's value in the saying "Slow down when you're ahead".
