Holy Crap!
I'm sitting here watching Specter wrap up the hearings... flip a bit, and see Biden on Matthews talking about the hearings WHILE THEY ARE STILL GOING ON.
Typical
Joe "Face Time" Biden...

I totally agree with you.

Well, that's that. Job well done by Alito.
This was fun.
Catch you all tomorrow.
To: MNJohnnie
this is not about the rest of the country, it's about the soundbites that'll be played on the morning shows.
Schmuckie will be on all the shows and he'll be positioned as asking "tough question" when, in fact, he was slammed.
Same with Russie.
To: mware
yes- and they are located on his arse.....

It does mean throwing out
stare decis, which is a stupid principle - it means what is wrong in the past must remain wrong in the future, lest precedent be disturbed.
There is only one absolute document - the Constitution. If there are decisions which stray from it, a corrective must be applied.

I'm surprised Biden waited as long as he did to run to a cozy media outlet.

Ramblings of an insane individual. Schumer was joking about a friend that hated his mother-in-law and when asked later if he still hated her months later, he said that he knows his wife better now.

He'll be skewered tomorrow morning and people that aren't lucky enough to watch the entire thing (like most of us freepers) will be presented half the story Which will play well with the 1/3 of the fanatic Democrats who pay attention to the Dinosaur Media. Meanwhile the 2/3 of the public that either DO NOT CARE, or lean right will be listening to Talk Radio and get a completely different vision of the hearing. Rush Limbaugh, and the other top 2 Conservative Radio hosts talk to MORE people then watch the alphabet news shows nightly. There is a REASON the Job Approval number for "Journalists" is about 35% with the American people. They are NOT all power despite what some Freeprs think.
