Each of the eighteen senators on the Judiciary Cmte. will have 30 minutes to question Supreme Court nominee Samual Alito today during round one. Sen. Arlen Specter, as chairman, will begin, then they will alternate by party in order of individual seniority. Round two starts on Wednesday.

You're right, he hasn't. He has been very forthcoming, a point Sessions reiterated. Schumer looks stupid for saying it. Everyone knows it's just in the plan. Alito could have told everyone how much he ways and the last time he took a poop, and it wouldn't be enough for Upchuckie.

Hopefully after Alito is done chewing them up and spitting them out, he will be on the court in a couple of weeks. Then Bush will see that appointing giants to the bench pays off when it is go-time. Maybe Ginsburg or Stevens will be followed up by Luttig perhaps. Who needs a stealth nominee for us to win?
