Yes.. good answer on foreign courts..
Stick to the constitution and american precedent..
Alito has done pretty well so far..
And I too, am impressed with his answers.. without referring to notes, or consulting constantly with aides, etc..
But we have more Dems coming up...
Some of them are pretty sharp.. or well prepped..
He still must practice caution..

What? Sessions was great, he asked all the questions the Dems interrupted the Judge on. Sessions is a brilliant lawyer he knows how to lead a witness.

I did not know that, thanks for that information.
I do not respect her, but I don't wish that on anyone.

Schumer is good..I think that Altio can handle it..though he'll be mentally tired..but how tough Chuckie is will give us an idea of the dems future plans. I agree he is good - he knows the case law and is a skilled advocate. OTOH, his skill is in twisting facts and logic - Alito is more than his equal, I think, on mental faculty, and has truth and logic on his side. Count on Chuckie to give it all he has, regardless of his sense of the eventual outcome of the hearings and votes.

Sessions was fabulous, as was Alito.
So far, from all I have heard, I feel that the SC will be going in exactly the right direction with Alito, and of course, Roberts.
Can't wait to hear Lindsay.
To: Lizarde
Thanks. I'll wait a few minutes and see if I have a "vision" of where it may be. 1-1000 or 1001-2000.

I think Brit just said, 11 of 17 have asked questions so far. Schmuckie is up next, followed by Graham, I believe. I don't know if they will get through the whole group today or not.
To: Cboldt
Question - did Alito ever work in the dreaded private sector? If he did, that would help him prepare to do well in hearings.

Oh no... the CSpan man just said Feingold is up next. And now Schumer is talking. I can't take this. I'm going to play Pop-Fu.
To: Cboldt
Schumer is on now saying that "we don't know any more now, than we knew before". A simple untruth.
He's a partisan piece of sh!t whether he is skilled or not. He is still a hack.
To: Laverne
Thanks, I'll try Google also.

I sense some disappointment in the Fox panel......maybe Schmucky Schumer will provide a little drama.
(disappointment that there haven't been any fireworks)
