WASHINGTON It's almost as if Sen. John Kerry never stopped running for president.
He still jets across the country, raising millions of dollars and rallying Democrats. He still stalks the TV news show circuit, scolding President Bush at every turn.
His campaign Web site boasts of an online army of 3 million supporters.
The Massachusetts Democrat, defeated by Bush in 2004, insists it is far too early to talk about the 2008 race, but some analysts assume he has already positioning himself for another shot at the White House.
"Obviously, Kerry has all but said he wants another crack at the thing," said Neal Thigpen, a political science professor at South Carolina's Francis Marion University. "He's going to make a second try."

Now, there's one dem I could get behind. NOT!
Unless the law can be changed, he can't run for both President and re-election as Senator, and his next time at bat is in
'08. If he DOES campaign for prez and winds up ruling out a run for re-election (I know, he'll try to change the
law first..) expect Congressmen like Barney Frank,
Marty Meehan, and others to run for his seat.
And should he fail ultimately, he'll still have lots of
Te-ray-za dough to fall back on. He has 700 million reasons to be happy, and all of them have George Washington's picture on them, as Howie Carr would say.
(not too late to croon my Christmas carol?)
Have Yourself a Kerry Little Christmas
Cozy all the way
While the seat of power lies so far away
You'll be just one more lib in the Senate
Thanks to W
You won't live on Pennsylvania Avenue
Ketchup heiress has lots of dough
Lots and lots of dough to spend
It won't buy you the White House Though
For the voters know, my friend
Mondale, Gore, and also Mike Dukakis
Know just how you feel
When you're seen you just don't have appeal
So have yourself a Kerry Little Christmas, now
That's right. And he has a plan.....
Only a couple of issues get me going here. This is one of them.
Why that guy is not in prison is beyond me.
"The campaign continues!" - William Daley, shortly after stopping Al Gore from announcing his concession.
I don't know if I can stand it again...
Really? You don't say.
Casey suffers from a fatal political flaw. He's dull. Al Gore dull. Joe Lieberman dull. And most of us can agree that the only thing that kept John Kerry from putting us all in a coma was anticipating what Teresa would say next.
Perhaps Mrs. Clinton needs some pretend competitionso it won't look like an anointing.
Gomer Pyle is smarter and more patriotic than Kerry.
Kerry is going to go down hard, VERY HARD, when he is crushed under by the Hillary machine. The best thing about Kerry's candidacy will be seeing him go BERSERK once he realizes that Hillary has CRUSHED him like a firefly on a speeding car window.
Oh boy, I'll have to increase my satellite channels so I can get Jay Leno before my bed time so I can hear all the jokes!
It's not going to happen. Even Kerry by the end of 2006 will see the handwriting on the political wall. Even his wife's money isn't going to be enough to get him the nomination. He will withdraw before that happens.
Bring it on, you pathetic loser.
Which is one of the reasons why Kerry may run, but will be massacred in the Primaries.
The Dems have a habit of not re-cycling, backing and voting for someone who embarrassed their Party so badly the last time around.
Jack.
"Skerry/Clinton"
= Scary Clinton
Freudian slip?
"You seen this???"
