A Quinnipiac University poll found that...
Democrats to be highly depressed:
Q.: Do you think 2005 was better or worse than 2004 for you personally?
Republicans: Better: 65% Worse: 22%
Democrats: Better: 41% Worse: 45%
Time to cheer up Democrats.
Politics isn't everything, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid won't be your leaders forever, let alone Howard Dean.

I agree! 41% is a LOT of dems that think things are better. I'm blown away by that number, although its just another poll.

Democrats are in general very depressing people. I can't stand being around them, and therefore I have no real friends that are Democrats. Life is good.

I keep telling you that liberals are mentally ill.Don't be daft, man...we're all mentally ill. It's just that some of us are sissies and some want to fight it (insanity...and cowardess, that is). There ain't nothin' wrong with being a sissy (a person can't help how they're born), but giving in to that or any weakness is death.
And Democrats think it is better to die than fight.

Here's a segment.
A tall blond woman walks outside.
She squeezes her head, shakes it and looks at the ground as she says, "The entire country is red! Do I live in another country?"
Randi Rhodes, being 'brilliant', says, "It's all red because no one lives there. Most people live in the cities because that's where the food and water is?"
To which I laugh, because I'd like to see her milk a cow on fifth avenue and grow wheat on top of her building.
MORONS!!
I laugh.
The I read a book of Reagan's letters.
Yes.

It's no wonder the Dims are depressed. After all...
Pinko has an angry, almost genetic loathing for privilege, greed, social exploitation, racism, sexism, homophobia, pro-lifers, the religious right, environmental degradation, the NRA, U.S. imperialism, multinational corporations, big business, Republicans in general, and George Bush in particular.
Pinko openly admires Oliver Stone, Noam Chomsky and Michael Moore, and anyone else who is critical of the U.S. government and bourgeois culture. She ardently believes there is no enormity of evil of which the United States is incapable, and regards its entire history as an unbroken legacy of avarice, deceit and injustice.

You'd be depressed, too, if like most liberals you truly thought the earth had too many people for available resources, that man-induced global warming was going to destroy the earth, that Big Oil runs everything, that gas will be $4 a gallon in the very near future, that you'll never see a Social Security check, that only the rich get richer, that women can't succeed because of men, that health insurance companies are killing people, that Christianity is the same as Islam, etc. etc.
