"Burn!" A knot of young men join their voices in a battle cry as they edge closer to the silhouette of a parked Mercedes, some of them aiming what look like handguns, others reaching for lighters.
In the harsh light of an underground parking lot in this grim suburb northwest of Paris, the guns and lighters are imaginary - but the sense of aggression is real. As one of the young men films with a digital camera, the others move to the angry beat of music blasting out of an open car door, echoing into the dark December night.
They sing about the riots that erupted two months ago, about being Muslim and about not feeling French in France. For them the unrest is not over, it is waiting to break loose again

Unfortunately, I do not think we are getting the full story on what happened in France or is happening in Australia. Any hint of the violence being caused by islam is immediately downplayed by the MSM. Guess they must REALLY believe it's a religion of peace.

Nah. Too cold. Why suffer needlessly. They'll wait until it's warmer being the deeply committed holy warriors they are (AKA Thugs and looters).

"The rage in the suburbs is only asleep," said Balastik, a French youth of Mauritanian origin who has been jobless since dropping out of school seven years ago and is dreaming of a career as a rapper with his band, Styladone. Dropped out of school 7 years ago and still dreaming of becoming a wrapper? I think you are the one who is asleep, Balaschtik!

Amazing that the fwench haven't learned that paying protection doesn't work in either the short term or the long term.
Didn't work for them before when the Norse invaded what became Normandy
Didn't work for the English with Danegeld
Isn't working the the Israeli's with Land for Peace
Unfort, W seems to be trying to see it it will work with the criminal immigants here.
I had to travel through central, eastern & southern France earlier this month. During the check in at each hotel, the clerk went out of his / her way to cautioned me on what areas were not patrolled by the police and where the "local youths" tended to go. Throughout the regions that I traveled through, the common fwench have already given up.

I'm down with that! The reason such crap hasn't happened here is most muslims are much more integrated. The real reason those sheetheads havent tried it here is the second amendment. If you think there aren't dense enough populations of muslims here to try it, you haven't been to Dearborn/Detroit/Hamtramk/Dayton. If it ever DOES happen, I feel sorry for the Arefs down at the C-stores across this country.

Toward the bottom of the article is this :
In a poll published by the newspaper Le Monde earlier this month, more than one in six respondents felt there were too many immigrants in France.I would say that French respondents are a little slow to get it.

I was in Europe just before the French vote on the EU constitution and watched (on TV) Chirac's town-hall meeting with about 100 French youth. There were a few "people of color" but most were white. They all complained about the economy. A recently graduated lawyer was unemployed. A recently graduated accountant was working at a supermarket checkout. An auto worker had just seen his job moved to Slovakia. The French government had better worry about the problems of the majority youth and not just the thugs who burn automobiles.
