WASHINGTON (AP) -- Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy says President Bush is wrong to try and silence his Iraq-war critics by calling them defeatists.
Kennedy says Americans understand that for America's security, we need to win in Iraq. However the Democratic lawmaker said Bush should acknowledge that the Iraq war has emboldened the terrorists, and increased their ranks.
Bush spoke to the nation last night about the war. The president said that despite setbacks, not only can the United States win the war in Iraq -- we are winning the war.
Gee. I was gonna say that.
The Senator from Chappaquiddick is squealing like a stuck pig. Remember what The Swimmer said about the Iraq war being cooked up ahead of time?
I dunno. It seems the terrorists were pretty emboldened on 9-11, and we weren't even IN Iraq.
Kennedy needs to be reminded that bin Laden specifically said that it was Clinton's cowardly retreat in Mogadishu that embolded al Qaeda and convinced them that they could defeat the US.
Teddy Kennedy - the terrorists representative in Washington.
Look at the bright side Ted: He didn't call you a worthless, obese, drunken, philandering murderer. |
Disclaimer: This photo is FAKE but ACCURATE.
I seem to recall that the police had already ran the plates and traced the car to Kennedy and were looking for him. Apparently, he had already met with several advisors and discussed the best possible way to handle himself before he appeared several hours(10-12?) later
to give a statement.
Hey Swimmer, you and your fellow Dems are craven, self-seeking, traitorous, Chamberlainesque fools.
Is that better?
I vote for calling them "Traitors" versus "Defeatists." Ask anyone with an agenda; words matter. ;)
"Why of coarse I have a penis,I'll take my hands of the wheel and lift my belly up, and you can see for yourself..."
Who cares what Kennedy says? This windbag is only in the Senate because his name is Kennedy.
LOL!!
"Once a snake, always a snake........."
Shame we cannot treat him, Reid and Pelosi the way that they treated Clement L. Valladigham back in the Civil War.
Tiddy Kowardly has to go back into hiding
now...Ahab has allready set course for the
Massachusettes coastline.
On May 1, 1863, in a political speech at Mt. Vernon, Ohio, he declared, among other things, that the Civil War was being fought not to save the Union but to free the blacks and enslave the whites. Gen. Ambrose E. Burnside, then commanding the Dept. of the Ohio, accused him of violating General Order No. 38, which threatened punishment for those declaring sympathy for the enemy, and Vallandigham was arrested, court-martialed, and sentenced to imprisonment for the rest of the war. President Lincoln commuted the sentence to banishment behind Confederate lines.
BWAHA-HA-HA-HA! For today's Copperheads, that would mean drop them into the mountains of AFGHANISTAN-PAKISTAN border!.............
Defeatist is about the mildest term that Bush could employ to describe these traitors. If it were me making that speech, it may have had to have been on 10-second delay so that they could bleep out the expletives I would likely use to describe those in and the actions of the sedition party.
Mr Kennedy...*exactly* where..*were* each of
your hands right before the car swerved
and crashed over the side of the bridge?...."
"..Any chance you were trying to force one of
them in between Miss Kopeckne's legs?..."
Actually if Kennedy lays down on the ground, he is still the same height.
