Contrary to Senator Ted ("Brando") Kennedy's assertion, labeling him and other Democrats as "defeatists" does not "silence" them. Ted remains free to waddle up to any microphone and say anything he wishes. The label only suggests that he is either a liar, a fool, or both on the Iraq War.

Less and less people may listen to Ted as time goes by. But that means his quarrel is with the people, who find him increasingly useless and irrelevant, not with the President who has labeled him "defeatist."

As for the two senators from Massachusetts, Kennedy could be labeled an unindicted murderer, an untreated alcoholic, an untreated sex addict, and an out-of-control glutton. Kerry could be labeled a pathological liar, an unindicted traitor, and a shameless gold digger.

Once again a Democrat Slimeball leader is lying about what the President said. President Bush welcomed constructive criticism, but condemmed defeatist attitudes. Kennedy, along with all of his Dem leaders (Dean, Pelosi, Reed, Durbin, etc.) offer no constructive suggestions, only retreat and defeat. They are fully invested in American defeat and can't imagine actually helping the cause of victory by making useful suggestions.
