President Bush delivered the fourth of four speeches on Iraq. Today's speech was given at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in DC. Video of the speech is available at CSPAN. Speaking about this week's elections in Iraq, President Bush told the audience, "We are living through a watershed moment in the story of freedom." Text of today's speech.
Brit Hume, Fox News, interviewed President Bush at length. The interview is being broadcast now, and should be rebroadcast in Brit's "Special Report" on replay tonight.
Addressing the Heritage Foundation, Condi Rice said, "The world has shirked its duty to help prosecute Saddam Hussein. The international community's effective boycott of Saddam's trial is only harming the Iraqi people, who are now working to secure the hope of justice and freedom that Saddam long denied them. ... I am sad to say that the international community has barely done anything to help Iraq prosecute Saddam Hussein."
Welcome to Sanity Island.
Hey Mike. Howdy to you. Do you still have your snow?
Hi spaatz. Have you been on the Dose before and I've missed greeting you?

Feeling the "new guy" feeling.
Ya, I was a lurker for the last two or so years, just getting active.
Yup, frozen solid, our high temp today was 23, it was 6 Degrees above Zero this morning
And doncha just love it. His approval rate is going back up because people can see that he is once more the Commander in Chief and is on for a fight.
He's the best there is when pushed into a corner! WOOHOO again!!!
I didn't get to see or hear Brian William's interviews..but I can tell that President Bush trusts Brit Hume...so is very relaxed.
..and Condi! Doesn't she look beautiful! She looks like she was in rare form today too!
Is your business increasing from hazardous roads?
We still have snowmen remains but it's been between the 20's and low 40's.

No worries, mate. You're truly welcomed here.
***Yup, frozen solid, our high temp today was 23, it was 6 Degrees above Zero this morning***
Frozen solid...that was the state of my hot water pipe in the kitchen. Finally got it thawed out at midnight last night. Only three more months of winter, though. Then the robins come back and all the birds and rabbits and squirrels in my yard have babies. And in just seven days, the days start getting longer by a second or two a day. (I'll stop now!)
Condi does indeed look stunning. I think she looks particularly dramatic and powerful when wearing dark colors, such as for today's speech.
She sparkles in today's photos.
Hello toaster winner what would you like

Evenin', snugs.
Good evening Gretchen - thanks for the dose - got your freep mail earlier
