"WoW! This speech was the best of all of them."

I haven't yet had a chance to watch the speech!

According to the C-Span TV Schedule, C-Span2 will re-broadcast the speech at 8:01 PM EDT and C-Span will re-broadcast the speech at midnight EDT. [Given that Senators are still bloviating on C-Span2, I'm quite sure the President's speech will be delayed!]

Hi Gretchen. Thanks for the Dose tonight. I like that one of GWB and Don Rumsfeld going into the Oval Office. They seem to have been in an interesting conversation judging by their expressions.

Hi snugs. Thanks for posting that touching photo. Children of Courage awards -- what a lovely idea. I wish we had something similar here. BTW, I am not one who mocks or disrespects the Duchess. I don't judge people by their looks and there's something about her I like. If nothing else, she's certainly been very loyal and devoted to Prince Charles for many years.

Have just re-read my post and I should have used and read preview better.

Here goes

Sounds as if you get geese where we get seagulls. I suppose I think of suburban and urban as the same, except suburban would mean in the suburbs of a large city whereas urban simply means not in the actual countryside.

Though many people would say where I live is country but to me because I consider I live in a town rather than country (though only a mile or so from actual countryside) it is urban.

So I re-word my question as I forgot urban may not mean the same in US as Britain.

Do you have a problem with seagulls away from the coast ours have come inland and actual live in towns and villages and I hear them fly over about 3.00am each night.

I'm recording "A Christmas in Washington" on one TV and the President's speech on another!

Earlier, I recorded Brit's interview with the President . . . This is definitely a GEORGE W BUSH evening and I'm loving every minute!!

This little headline from FNC says it all about those losers .. how anyone listening to these speeches could be confused in ANY way about the mission and how important it is has to be drinking Kennedy's cheap booze

That's just what I thought today as I watched The President's Dec 7 speech.

A question to all do you have an urban seagull problem in the US?

Living less than 3 miles from the harbor and bay, lots
of seagulls but no real problem.
There are various types here and all loud.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm . . . We have 6 TVs for a family of 4 -- do you think I'm overcompensating for the fact that I grew up in a family of 10 with only 1 TV?!
