These two self-deluded men ought to take a realistic look at the damage that's been done to black communities by the gun-and-drug gangs. Williams is one of the Founding Fathers. How many young men are dead, how many have had their lives ruined by drugs, how many families were affected by tragedy. Of course, these two won't ever mention those facts, but they should.

Well, 5 days is also a little too soon. They should be able to run through the appelate courts, just to ensure an innocent person is not executed.

Two appeals should do it, though. Maybe 2 years, tops.

I trust the LAPD has been planning and preparing; if necessary, our good friends the National Guard as well.

I don't trust the LAPD, especially not with Mayor VillaraigosACLU at the helm. I lived through the 1992 riots and if I had heard Maxine Waters condoning those riots as I have heard since - I would have called Washington and DEMANDED her removal from the House.
