It was the worst Graham interview ever, imo.

He is a weak man.

I'm thinking that Russert has that table raised every so often to make pussies like Graham look even smaller.

I'm SO glad you mentioned that. It looked like Graham was looking over Timmy's head! Maybe Graham is one of those speakers who can't concentrate and look a person directly in the eyes. He strikes me as that kind of person.

anytime GWB can spare with Karl Rove for "tv and interview" prep would be good.

If one were to listen to the DimoRATS (and I am not suggesting one does) you would think that Rove and Bush are WAY TOO BUSY fighting off the prosecutors during the most corrupt administration ever to hold the WH - ha ha.

Freepers have more info at their disposal than Republican Congressmen, it seems.

Actually, the Congresscritters DO have more info at their disposal --- they just don't read it; they leave that for the staffers to do.

Why aren't the mass graves in Iraq being highlighted as an equivalent argument as the WMD's. Albright is all smug about the Clinton policy of containment while Hussein was filling mass graves and looting the Oil for Food program. Her containment policy could easily be proved to be a failure if someone were to try just a little.

Thanks, I see a trend in some papers that they are starting to report some true stories, that the MSM networks will never report.

See this amazingly inspiring story State worker trades desk job for duty

When Bruce Grant was asked why he's giving up about $40,000 in income, leaving his family for a year and volunteering for dangerous Army duty in Iraq, he looked like he was trying to find a polite way to answer a dumb question.

"Some things are worth fighting for. Some things are worth sacrifice," he said matter-of-factly in a brief interview Wednesday. "I have children and hope to have grandchildren. I hope that by us doing what we're doing now, they won't have to fight - that they can live in a safer world."

......... "Contrary to what we read in the press - and I don't mind because everybody knows bad news makes headlines - there are a lot of good things going on over there," Grant said. "I do have confidence that it can succeed. It would be crazy of me to go over there, if I didn't."

Biana Jagger is a lying witch on FOX NEWS. Too bad Martin didn't have a half hour with her. Her disinformation is astounding.

It probably is in the archives somewhere; it would help if we knew the date it was written. I think that Graham's letter went even further and said that Saddam may have been behind 9/11.

Well, there's plenty of info for that too and I could send it to him if he'd read it. But instead he wimped out completely.

An extract from the VP Speech in October 2004, he has also said this many times since.

""
The clearest, most important difference in this campaign is simple to state: President Bush understands the war on terror and has a strategy for winning it; Senator Kerry does not. All doubt on that matter was removed when Senator Kerry recently said he wanted to lead America back to the place where we were -- to a time when terrorism was, in his word, a "nuisance."

AUDIENCE: Booo!

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Like illegal gambling or prostitution. That's the comparison he made.

When I read that, I thought to myself, when was terrorism only a nuisance? Was it just a nuisance four years ago, when the USS Cole was attacked and almost sunk and we lost 17 sailors?

AUDIENCE: No!

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Was it a nuisance six years ago when they attacked two of our embassies in East Africa and killed hundreds of people?

AUDIENCE: No!

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Or 11 years ago when the World Trade Center in New York was first bombed?

AUDIENCE: No!

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Or 16 years ago when Pan Am 103 was blown out of the skies over Lockerbie Scotland?

AUDIENCE: No!

THE VICE PRESIDENT: Or 21 years ago, when a suicide bomber in a truck loaded with explosives drove into our barracks in Beirut and killed 241 Marines?

AUDIENCE: No!

THE VICE PRESIDENT: My friends, there never was a time when terrorism was just a nuisance. (Applause.) There never can be a time when terrorism is just a nuisance. Our goal is not to reduce terror to some acceptable level. Our goal is to defeat terror, and with George Bush as President, that's exactly what we will do. (Applause.)

You are right of course, just go slumming over at DU, and you'll find the usual "we still believe we can hang Rove up on the CIA leak" gang.

Instead of relying on the republicans, Bush is starting the offensive himself.

Tomorrow, Brian Williams is interviewing the President at the WH, then following & continuing the interview on Air-Force One while going to Philly.

My wish is that he would give interviews to people like John Gibson rather than NBC. No doubt, they will edit and add some antiwar protestors.

Not-so-Bright on. I will not listen to any of her swill!

Half-bright should not be on these shows. What does she have to offer other than possibly trying to cover up and excuse hers and buddy CLINTOON's failed policies - particularly China and N. Korea. She should leave the stage just like Mother Sheehan.
