We will not be playing all the artists and versions that we have. We don't have the space, but we feel you'll get enough variations to enjoy yourself. Background Information: The Englishman, John Francis Wade, wrote both the words and the music, Adeste Fideles. The Musical score was first published in 1782 in Samuel Webbe's An Essay on the Church Plain Chant in 1782. John Francis Wade first included it in his own 1751 publication of Cantus Diversi. The lyrics were first published in 1760. If you hear someone using tissues, it's MoJo. This song has watery effects. To our British and Aussie allies, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Background Info: Joy to the World The words and lyrics of the old Christmas carol 'Joy to the World' were written in 1719 by Isaac Watts (1674-1748). The father of John Watts was a Non-conformist and so extreme were his views that he was imprisoned twice. His father's influence over Isaac was demonstrated when he choose to attend Nonconformist Academy at Stoke Newington in preference to a University. Watts was ordained as a Pastor of an Independent congregation. He wrote many hymns and Carols and was awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree by the the University of Edinburgh in 1728. The music to the carol is by George Frederick Handel (1685-1759). MoJo Thought: Have you ever noticed while reading articles that when referring to GOD that many folks decide to write it *G-D*? What is that? Is it supposed to mean that it is less potent and offensive by keeping the *o* from appearing? My suggestion to these folks isn't to use God at all. If you can't add the *o*, don't write it. This is true for those of you that believe or don't.

> I suppose to me it's a loyalty issue. Although, I'm at an advantage, I don't have to leave America for opportunities. Living on the Islands, you sometimes have to go elsewhere.
I can see where you're coming from. And the best analogy I can explain it with is this: think "Puerto Rico" and baseball.
It's precisely *that* sort of relationship, with the Islands and New Zealand. Every one of those kids dreams about being an All Black. It's the equivalent of the American Dream for them.
Nationalism as the USA understands the term does not feature, much.
For many thousands of years, the South Sea islanders roamed these waters. They did not actually see alot of difference between being on this island or on that island: the whole South Pacific was their playground.
And it still is. The national borders we have imposed are entirely artificial to their way of thinking. At least, that's how I'm led to believe.
These are big, beefy guys whose ancestors could chop down trees with stone-age implements, hollow them out, devise outrigger technology aeons ahead of its time, then row and sail the darn things for thousands of miles across some of the most dangerous water on this planet, navigating to the next island somewhere unseen over the horizon. And then get home again.
They *own* the Pacific, and always have. That's how they think. We choose to call it "New Zealand" or "Samoa" or "Tonga" and they'll pretend that it matters, to humor us. In fact, it's all their own back yard.

I did have a dog-Tippy.I named him.He was a runt from a litter downstairs from an apartment my parents were living in at that time.Tippy was my best friend and did everything I did and went everywhere I went and we even shared ice cream.I was 12 years old.My parents told me no dog but my bedroom was outside the main apartment so I hid him-fed-him and watched him grow.Couldn't hid him anymore so my parents said OK.

With shivering toes we walked along relating impish episodes from our young girl years.
Taz related warm late summer nights and slipping out her bedroom window. She quietly crept over the porch roof to the trellis and climbed down.
The goal of the foray was the grape arbor with ripe Concords.
Even a little under ripe there were never sweeter grapes. Through the icy woods they walked, words visible on the air.
