If Hillary Clinton runs for President in 2008, just 25% of Americans say they would definitely vote for her. That's down five points over the past two weeks. It's also the lowest level of support measured for the former First Lady in 2005. (Review Trends).
Forty percent (40%) would definitely vote against Senator Clinton. That's little changed from two weeks ago. Rasmussen Reports has conducted a Hillary Meter poll every other week since April. Only once has the number who say they would definitely vote against Clinton been higher than it is now.

Hopefully that will enable us to get a relatively conservative GOP candidate in.
I worked for a Navy JAG who was from NY. He wanted to vote against her first for her senate race and then for her presidental apsirations.
Yeah, I was gonna say it may be no picnic for us, either. We're even more in the dark about whom will likely get the GOP nod than the 'Rats are. If McCain is serious, we're going to have a major league turd in in our punch bowl.
'Course, her husband was elected the first time with only about 16% of the registered voters voting for him.
LOL....maybe if Sharpton was in the party, it would be called that "Gangsta" Party.
But, they might not get "Fifty Cent"'s vote...I hear he is a hugh George Bush fan...lol
Before, I would have said Clinton was a sure thing for the nod. Now she's looking ridiculous by trying to move to the "center" on Iraq, which makes the liberals scornful of her, and doesn't draw any support from the right anyway. That said, I have no idea what she's going to do in full campaign mode. The Clintons have stepped over dozens of people and cast many of their political allies to the wind when it was convienent for them to do so. Who knows what "dirt" she could leak out on her prospective rivals.
And for those pointing out 1976 and 1992, what about 1984 and 1988, when two blue state candidates got the nod and went down to crushing defeat?
Don't believe it. The lefties are, justifably, sick and tired of the triangulation nonsense. They are looking for someone with the courage of hard left liberal convictions.Hillary will NOT be nominated.
I'm still not buying it. I don't think she can find anyone to run like Perot did to spoil the rightwing vote. She's running an extraordinarily risky pre-campaign now, what with her flip-flopping on some issues and her attempts to move center, move right and stay left. Has anyone told her that Bush isn't running again in 08? LOL! She's not likeable by any stretch of the imagination and I don't see her even winning the dimwit primary in 08.
The Slimes prints but who buys it anymore? Their national circulation has dropped drastically. Hitlery has lost her stranglehold on the media, both print and radio/TV. I agree...hitlery will be a virtual nonplayer in the dim primary. The voters will pick someone else entirely but definitely not her.
Finally some good news.
"I think the first woman president will be a Margaret Thatcher type"
Oh, I so agree! Someone more in line with a Condi Rice...someone with intelligence, common sense and who carries a big stick. In comparison, hitlery is a lightweight with the exception of her elephantine cankles.
"She ain't run'in."
I have considered that too, that she won't run, in the end. I think she is currently "laying the groundwork" and hoping to get a groundswell of support but it's not happening. The clintons are done, IMO. They've been out of power and dwindling down since they were removed from the White House in 2001 by probably minutes before the Bush inaugural.
Clinton's triangulation mumbo jumbo and John Kerry's impenetrably tortured logic have created a groundswell on the left for a standard barer with solid liberal positions.
Frankly, I can't blame them.
Well said. klintune ruined them and I'm loving it! LOL
I think after 2008, Bubba and Hillary will go their separate ways. He doesn't need her and never did (obviously). She's a leach and nothing more. If she hadn't married Bubba, we probably wouldn't even know of her existence. Her NY seat was a pushover. If Minnie Mouse was a Dem, she could have won NY because of NYC.
Her prospects are declining along with the ratings of "Commander in Chief".
