Pennsylvania U.S. Senator Arlen Specter says he is looking into the Terrell Owens situation, saying the former Eagles receiver is being "blacklisted" from football.

Well, to be honest, if that staffer was responsible for bringing in a few million worth of donations, the answer is, they would leave him alone and put up with a lot of c-r-a-p.

The problem with the owners is they coddle all athletes way too long and too much. Owens is the current primadonna in the dog house, but there are plenty of others who fit the bill to some extent:

Bonds, Sprewell, Moss and Romanowski are three that spring to mind.
