A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of color=000030 face=arial size=2>A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Chorus: There are smiles that make us hap -py, There are smiles that make us blue; There are smiles that steal a -way the tear -drops As the sun -beams steal a -way the dew; There are smiles that have a ten -der mean -ing That the eyes of love a -lone may see, And the smiles that fill my life with sun -shine Are the smiles that you give to me.

Actually, this year was bad with spring...it didn't get really warm until almost May.
In Georgia, it's muggy and moldy all year round.

I need to take my camera to the dance lessons and get a pic of her. You know I will post it if I get a good one.
Nothing like a proud Gramma to drive everyone nuts.

I'm originally from Georgia. We visited about four times this year. The relatives only came once during the summer.
They say they're going to visit in December. They might bring Grandfather, they say. I'll believe it when I see it.

Very good, Lady X!
CATS DO SLEEP ANYWHERE!
If you are a curious chap
Look throughout your house for a stream of light
The odds are better than even that you just might
Find a cat or kitten purring through an indulgent nap
On a shelf or too high book case
Atop your computer's keyboard
Or cuddling the mouse
Nowhere is off limits in or out of house
Poured across your car's hood
In the barn or draped over a ball of yarn
Inside a tunnel of hangers that hold your favorite clothes
How they get there, Heaven Knows!
