VP Dick Cheney will be delivering a major response to the Dems who want to cut and run from Iraq in a LIVE speech from the Heritage Foundation. On C-span 1 at 11 AM, scheduled for one hour. and you can expect all the cable news nets to carry it...and then Rush is back today, and will explain it all for us again..and it would NOT surprise me if the Veep turns up as a special guest on Rush's show today..

It was up to Saddam to prove he had no WMD. Instead he laughed at us, and believed France and Germany when they told him they wouldn't allow the U.S. troops to overthrow him; BAD MOVE.
This should also be in prime time when people are watching.

For many years, they grew bolder. In Beruit in 1983 they killed 241 of our servicemen and we withdraw from Beruit.
Mogadishu killed 19 Americans and we withdrew.
They concluded they could strike AMerica and we would withdraw.

I think you're right but I'll allow as they might want to try this for now. We'll see how it goes. Already the Dems have had a pitiful response over the House vote Friday night save Cheshire Biden threatening to filibuster Alito on Fox news.

For once, for JUST once, I would like to enjoy a speech, without people criticizing what the administration hasn't done up to this point. But alas, it will never happen.
