Senator McCain put it best. It is a lie to say the president lied to the American people.

Soldiers and Marines go out every day in the most unpredictable conditions.

Meanwhile, back in the US some Senators revise history and it has not place in the US Senate. It is shameful.

Untruthful charges against the president have an insidious effect on the war effort itself.

Men and women fighting in the war on terror have not wavered in the slightest. They have skill and honor. They work hours in the desert heat and capture killers. Americans appreciate our fellow citizens who endure the hardship of separation from families.

Our nation grieves for the men and women who died for freedom's cause.

Their cause is right and just and necessary and we will stand behind them with pride until the day of victory.
