VP Dick Cheney will be delivering a major response to the Dems who want to cut and run from Iraq in a LIVE speech from the Heritage Foundation. On C-span 1 at 11 AM, scheduled for one hour. and you can expect all the cable news nets to carry it...and then Rush is back today, and will explain it all for us again..and it would NOT surprise me if the Veep turns up as a special guest on Rush's show today..

For those of us who don't mind debating, there's plenty to keep us busy these days.
On the questoni of national security, feelings run strong on how to best protect the US and our friends. Recently my friend Murtha called for a complete withdrawal.
I disagree with Jack and believe his proposal does not serve the best interest of this nation. But he's a good man who is taking part in a legitimate discussion.
Nor is there anything wrong with discussing whether we should have freed Iraq. No one is saying we shouldn't be having this discussion.

Says it is "irresponsible" for some Senators to say Bush misled us into war.

What is not legitimate and what I will again say is dishonest and reprehensible is the suggestion by some US Senators is that the president purposely misled the American people on intelligence.
Some of the most dishonest ocmments have coment from people who voted for the use of force against Saddam. Those people have acess to the intelligence reports. They concluded as we did and the previous administration did that Saddam Hussein is a threat.
Slaps Murtha's proposal but says he's a good man & is entitled to his opinion. No one is saying we should not examine the issue. Not legitimate dishonest & reprehensible to say that this administration has PURPOSEFULLY mislead.
