VP Dick Cheney will be delivering a major response to the Dems who want to cut and run from Iraq in a LIVE speech from the Heritage Foundation. On C-span 1 at 11 AM, scheduled for one hour. and you can expect all the cable news nets to carry it...and then Rush is back today, and will explain it all for us again..and it would NOT surprise me if the Veep turns up as a special guest on Rush's show today..

And if we lose ( and yes, that's how a pull out will be seen) the money we give them for oil will go to buy weapons. Weapons that will be used against us.
The world will know they're tough and we're not. That's a dangerous position for us. Next time when we need someone to stand with us, they won't. We'll be seen as unreliable. Cheney needs to tell the truth about the price we'll pay if we pull out.
Cheney needs to explain why we won't be safe. And quit with the warm fuzzy crap around "freedom for the Iraqis". Not that freedom for them isn't important - it is. But their freedom buys safety and sanity in a crazy region of the world. And that's OK that there's something in this war for us. Say it and be proud. We're helping them,< we're helping us.
The war's not just for them, not just for their benefit, it's for all of us. It's to keep armed wolves from our doors.
I bet the drunken hothead who assaults minority children also thinks the unified position is for men to beat their wives.
I could very well be wrong.
Looking forward to slapdown! Actually there are a few Dims I wouldn't mind seeing be trampled on the way to the mikes....no permanent damage, mind you, but curtailing Reid, Peolsi, Kennedy, Biden Schumer etal's ability to speak for awhile could be a good thing! ;>)

But IF Zarqawi's dead, and if Cheney were the first to announce it officially, then the MSM would be forced to cover it.
But it might be too early to know if Zarqawi's a goner, so I'm not holding my breath.

I was thinking that just yesterday. She's quite good at going underground during difficult times - thanks to a complicit media.
Now that you mention it, she has!! Obviously hasn't taken enough polls to tell her which side of the war issue she should take. SHHHHH if we're really quiet maybe she won't realize we're here!
