This is a VERY carefully prepared speech meant to lay out the case in GREAT detail. He's hitting all of the left's talking points and very specificially tearing them into little pieces.

Damn but he's good.

I want to know who wrote this one for him. Odds are it was mostly dictated then simply word smithed. I bet Lynne contributed, as well.

Great speech.....if indeed Mrs. Cheney did contribute, we may hear a variation of this speech from him again with personal stories added each time, because she is a wonderful storyteller. Some ideas, not that she'd need advice!

Iraqi shrines are in every single police station honoring their fallen. Pick one Iraqi hero, tell his story and then tell the numbers that are signing up as police trainees in spite of the danger.

Tell a story about one of the pilots who endured the continual deployments flying over Iraq during the 1990s while their planes were shot at.

Ask if the the media has named names of those we've lost to terrorists starting with WTCI; Kobhar; The bombed Embassies; Somalia; The Cole, WTC II, and repeat again and again that terrorism can't be appeased.
