QUEBEC (CP) - Andre Boisclair is the new leader of the Parti Quebecois.
Boisclair has become the head of the Quebec sovereignty movement with a first-ballot victory after a leadership vote by PQ members. Boisclair received 53.7 per cent of first-round choices, while Marois had 30.6 per cent and Richard Legendre 7.5 per cent.
Boisclair will likely have to wait until 2007 before getting a crack at defeating the governing Liberals, although Premier Jean Charest can wait until the spring of 2008 before calling the election.
The PQ leadership race was launched after Bernard Landry quit suddenly in June following lukewarm support at a party convention.
With previous PQ leaders Landry, Lucien Bouchard and Jacques Parizeau all being crowned, Boisclair is the party's first elected leader since 1985.

It shows Quebec is in its own little world. Hopefully they can separate and become their own ultra-liberal entity and free the rest of Canada...

This Cranks standard political menue will be:
1) Whip up support for Quebec to seperate
2) Scare the federal politicians in Ottawa
3) Negotiate all sorts of pork barrel deals with the feds for Quebec, and make gay marriage the right of all Canadians.
4) Watch the feds impose more French language requirements on the rest of the country, and watch the feds increase gun control so no one can think about mounting an armed resistance against the Parti Quebecois or the feds
Nice job of social engineering in Canada huh?
Boiseclair should be run out on a rail, and I dont mean him straddling it either! He can sit on the end of it!

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
Just doing my job, here's an article about the wonderful province of Quebec. So much going for it. What happened? Why are they so liberal/leftist/psychotic there? Aren't there a lot of Catholics in Quebec, or is it just "cultural"?
Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.
To: Victoria Delsoul
Nothing wrong with that. LOL.
I'm still trying to figure out what those two cartoon characters are all about.
