Fox & Friends Rathergate ping to the Today Show ping list.
I thought O'Reilly did better last night, which surprised me.
"Truth" to the left is that which advances their goals. Factuality has nothing to do with it.
"IMO ED Hill could have been tougher in terms of demonstrating how blatant were the forgeries, but other than that I felt ED handled herself in a professional manner."
Media types tend to go easy on other media types..they are afraid they will be in the same position one day (being grilled).

"She claimed that the standard of authentication for her purposes could be lower than that of absolute proof in a legal setting."
Brilliant. What's scary is she believes this to be the standard in journalism.

Mapes probably would not have agreed to the "interview" had Fox not agreed to only have ED Hill do the interview.
Also, Mapes blamed CBS's actions on about 100 bloggers. Afterall, as she pointed out, those 100 bloggers made it appear to CBS that everyone was against CBS. LOL.
Mapes also said she assumed from the first that the documents were fakes. That is why she had some ex-military review them for authenticity. What a bunch of B.S.
ROSS: Have they proved to be authentic, though? Isn't that really what journalists do?
MAPES: No, I don't think that's the standard.

Delusions - A firmly held belief with no basis in reality, that is, clinging to a belief even when the evidence shows that it's false. She is either deluded or shockingly partisan. In fact, if she isn't delusional and she actually knows that she is lying about this (too), then the "allegations" we made against her (i.e., that the false document report on was a set up and purposeful), then our allegations are probably only 1/2 of the actual story. If this is the case (and I'm pretty sure that it is), there is no telling the depths that this individual would stoop to advance her political agenda.
I can only think of 1 other word that describes this: deranged.
Saw her on O'Reilly's show last night. She was vague, undecisive and most definitely unconvincing.
"Fake but Accurate" shall forever be CBS's motto.
Thats why liberals are so insidious. With full knowledge of the truth, theyre willing to slay their own character for paycheck or power.
Yeah, and soon Fox is airing a production that sounds like it gives credence to global warming. yippee
I thought Ed and Mary could have been sisters chatting.
According to the Mapes Mindset of "fake but accurate" I could have some fun "reporting" that our Mayor robbed a liguor store last night. They'd have to convict him wouldn't they? Rights? What rights? You can see where this all is heading. Which is perfectly acceptable to the lefto "M. Mapes" among us.
She's a real piece of work. Last night O'Reilly dismantled her in a quiet, relentless, and polite manner. Frankly, I missed the shouting, but she made a complete fool of herself anyway.
We don't have to prove our 'facts'.
It's up to the people to disprove them.
She complains about the power of the internet while ignoring the power that the MSM has over the dissemination of news, mostly phony news.
But, authentication is your JOB, Mary!
