My MIL tells a story of how she used to work for a Saunders ice cream parlor in downtown Detroit. She worked late, locked up the shop and walked home alone in the dark. We look at her as if she's crazy when she remembers the Detroit-that-Was.

I looked over there, but could not find a thread on the riots in France, so assiduously were they avoiding the topic. You can't search unless you are a donor.

If a fact, event or truth doesn't fit into their rigid template, it doesn't exist. Not at DU, not in the MSM.

Your example is a desperate attempt to fit the French riots into their template. They need a crowbar and a sledgehammer to try to wedge it in, and even then it doesn't work.

Great points. But does anyone wonder if that is really true? I mean, the "youths" should be in school, oui? Is any of the rioting going on in daylight, ie school hours?
Just how old is the average RadMus rioter? If they are beyond Pimple Age, then I can accept that part (only a part) of their problem is lack of jobs. Otherwise, they plainly aren't fussing over unemployment.

And another thing- does anyone think that the "social situation" in Belgium, Denmark, and Germany is the same as in France? I mean, isn't it obvious that the riotous jerks in all areas are, at least somewhat, coordinated?
