"I hope that the rioters are smart enough to go after red states and red strongholds in otherwise blue states instead of burning their own neighborhoods."

Nice. You've got that telltale "Heart of Gold" don't you?
Way down deep, you're pretty shallow.

Too little info.

If they simply beat the crap out of the guy, they should be suspended.

If they had to use force to apprehend him, and the amount of force was appropriate, then they did thier jobs.

If they had to use force to defend themselves or others, and the amount of force was appropriate, then they did their jobs.

However, if they respond by going around and beating up young men on the street instead of upholding the law, they'll end up with a real revolution on their hands, and an arguably justified one.

The difference between rioting and a justified revolution is in both how the government and the people act.

Bring it on moonbats. Defending my home while thinning out the Democrat voting base is going to be fun.

Not all of DU is responding this way. I've monitored them daily since this began and while a number of them respond like this, not all do. Some agree that the French need to stand up and take a stand against the rioters. I'm not a DU apologist, but I see a lot of foreigners over there who speak excellent English and they try to divide Americans. This foreign influence on left-leaning websites concerns me and I don't like foreigners driving wedges among Americans.

All I can say is when the riots hit this country, I hope that the rioters are smart enough to go after red states and red strongholds in otherwise blue states instead of burning their own neighborhoods.

And all I can say is, if this punk comes anywhere near me, is to be ready to be facing nose to nose at the wrong end of my double barrel...

Laughable!

Why in the hell will the French not put snipers on the roof tops and stop this crap? The rioters do now want to die. Kill some and it will stop.

If anybody has any doubts about the second amendment, this should cure their doubts.

"They should look hard at Detroit. It's been 30 years and the place is STILL going downhill because of racism -- blacks against everybody else."

Speaking of "when the riots come," I have a strong suspicion that Detroit will be the first. A very large Muslim presence, simmering hatreds that go back decades, "governed" (and I use that term very loosely) by enablers and outright compatriots, and then you have the symbols. Cars. Burning. French. What city in the US embodies those things? Cars? Detroit. Burning? Well, there's Chicago, Atlanta or even Los Angeles, but there again, you have Detroit, "Devil's Night." French? New Orleans springs to mind immediately, but Fort Detroit was French. I realize this sounds tin-foil batty, but it's all there.

They think WE support french policies? They think WE'RE socialists???

Well, of course, Chirac's governing party IS conservative, after all.

The MSM keeps calling it that, so I know it's true.

I'm sure another factor in the unemployment issue is the fact that so many of them have spent all their lives memorizing the Koran instead of learning the 3Rs and basic job skills.
