Thanks Onyx.
It looks like 75 will pass, that should cripple the corrupt socialist unions in future elections. That at least gives hope in 2006 where maybe we won't be outspent 3-1.
Anyway, I'm not giving up on CA and neither is Arnold. I'll fight tooth and nail up until the end, the day my taxes are raised I'm out of here though.
Yes, too bad he didn't get out in public more to explain these Props & refute the lies being spread by others.

I disagree. Look at the counties reporting. Most of Orange is not in, SF and Marin are in, Stanislaus has nothing in. Keeping my fingers crossed.
He's speaking now. I really feel for him, though. I know he did what he could, even if he didn't understand how foolish Californians would be swayed by lies.
So, should I go to bed defeated? Is it really over? Is there still some hope?
He knocked Beatty off another station!
Just on pratical matters? :) The Hispanic effect is huge on 73. The pundits will notice it in about a week. If LA County Hipanics vote like Hispanics elsewhere in SoCal, LA will not follow the state pattern. Meanwhile, conservative Anglos in rural areas are lukewarm. Politics is so interesting. The union dues one will be tight, but I have a bad feeling that LA county will tank it, with Orange and San Diego unable to staunch the tide.
There's always hope.
I still think that Prop 75, at the least, will pass.
LA County starting to come in, only absentees were showing previously.
Some hope still for 73, very few ballots have been counted in San Bernardino county. 74 will probably fail but let's face it, that's minor compared to 75. We need to get 75 or else this election was a waste.
I really like this guy.
In the past 20 minutes, San Bernardino (which has a medium sized population and a good % of those vote) has switched from 42/58 against Prop 73 to 60/40 in favor of Prop 73. That's an 18% net turnaround. It's too early to predict these counties until they report 25+%. If it comes in at 60% in favor of Prop 73, it may win.
San Francisco is too buy riding Cadbury Highway to save from itself.
I've been doing the same thing since I cast my first ballot 10 years ago.
I am talking about those who actual vote. But you can see the effect.
Yes you can. They are real strong on 73. IMO, they should be proud of that. I just can't buy into the idea of sending a child into surgery without parental knowledge, no matter how it's painted.
Amen.
They are much closer than the polls showed.
All of the important ones are within the margin of error.
Well folks, here in Santa Barbara county, 100% of the votes are in. SB is the tiniest bit more conservative than the average of the state, due only to its large non-coastal population. Anyway, everything lost except Prop 75, which won by 150 votes out of 78000. So things are not looking good. It is no across the board across the state tonight.
