Agreed...provided we don't allow our Judas goat RINOs to bargain away our Second Amendment rights.
This is where it does get interesting. The white yuppies keep getting older, and they don't have children. Eventually they will die out due to lack of survival instincts (How else do you explain voting for socialism? You have ZERO survival instincts!).
Who will replace them? The Latinos mostly (if they can be motivated to participate that is). They are a whole new breed -- more socially conservative (for now) but fiscally liberal. Which only makes them half as bad as what they replace.
I really do wish we could break up the state! It truly is ungovernable the way it is setup right now.
RINO scumbags will be on my endangered species list.
Special Statewide Election
Proposition 73, Minor's Pregnancy
You're absolutely right!!! Bump to your post. I'm soooo sick of apathetic people not voting. No excuse. arghgh!
You idiot!
Are you serious? You didn't vote because your vote wouldn't have made a difference!!?
Can you imagine if 50,000 other peole didn't vote for the same reason? You lazy, cowards stayed home and changed the outcome of the vote by NOT VOTING!!
I agree with the others who said YOU are not allowed to comment on anything that happens in the state of California. Because YOU don't care about it.
Agree with your comments.
However, our conservative leaders need to get tougher not weaker in this onslaught from those who would wreck this country (Democrats) for a few measly benefits.
Worth repeating.
And I do believe that fiscal conservatism (Prop 76) is a valid barometer, but that's just me I guess.
It's little wonder why so many conservatives stayed home. Their own party doesn't support them...why should they support it?
I Agree. I am stunned to read that a few Freepers did not vote. What lazy, cowards.
THey will never be taken seriously by me again.
And if the good people of San Francisco don't allow military recruiting at high schools and colleges, I suggest that if there is a terrorist attack there, or a natural disaster (like an earthquake) the military NOT respond. What a bunch of left-wing whackos.
It appears many have hit the snooze button. The RINOs are insisting that I'm some sort of union thug supporter because I won't snuggle up to their Sacramento RINO who couldn't be bothered to endorse Prop 73 (parental notification).
RINO scumbags will be on my endangered species list.
Be prepared to be called a "Hillary supporter" because you won't truck with Liberal RINOs. The RINO brigade is already out in force trying to blame this debacle on conservatives.
I ALWAYS vote. I have never missed an election that I can remember. I would feel very guilty if I didn't vote.
Am I the only one who can hear the wake up bell ringing.
Bush and all our leaders on down to Arnold tried to compromise with the Democrats.
All this did was alienate those in the middle and piss off the base.
It's Time To Get Tough Conservatives.
Don't wimp out on us now.
I heard McClintock on John and Ken last night saying that Arnold should have had the election as soon as possible after his being voted into office, when emotions were still high.
I agree with him
Why do you think that Prop 76 was not a conservative measure?
"All conservatives should move and just leave that mess to the dogs..."
and please move to swing states...let's save the rest of the country.....(NJ, NY, Mass. also mucked up like Ca. so avoid these).
Your vote and others like you who "felt my vote would have been wasted" have no ownership for changing the political landscape of our great state. Your kind are along for the ride.
I do applaud you for your honesty in your post.
Since I had to become an Alaska resident to get my job I can no longer vote in California. However, I called my wife and asked how she voted and she said she didn't even go. I was somewhat disappointed but she wasn't following the debates so it was probably just as well that she stayed home. Shasta County is still relatively conservative, I just wonder for how much longer?
