Well Done Bahbah! Just piled it on today! #43 Past time for Repbo Senators to take their Democrat colleagues to task. #88 Just who leaked the CIA "Prisons" story this week? #101 Reid used access to FBI file to slime a Judge Nominee in a floor speech, that should be a serious offensive since those reports are suppose to be confidential. 108 Watching Kennedy makes me want to clip his ear lobes off. I vote Bahbah for Gitmo Commander!!!! #113, Does it seem as if Kennedy is unusually well prepared? #386 Award for finding this week's "Pundit Stuck on Stupid" for bringing up Newsweek's, Fareed Zakaria comment that "Alito is overqualified to be on the SC"! #366 Hagel "What CIA Lead"? Oh MY! Hagel bites the hand that feeds??? #351 Brit says WH will be fighting back soon. Well that will make a lot of Freepers happy! #423, McCain/Grahams pious mouthing to excuse their Defense of Terrorists Act do not impress. #204 "News" media is just regurgitating Dems talking points these days with NO attempt to be objective. #258 "Yes Mike (Wallace) the MSM ARE wild eyed libs. Also 502, 126, 177, 126 and a host of others. Just poured it on today did Bahbah.!
Good story!
Releasing a big bass in front of some 'lesser' fishermen is always a great rush. I did that shoreline fishing in my hip-boots once... near some 'bucket-fishermen'. I thought they were 'gonna gut me on the spot!
Just got a FReepmail from a female angler down in TN. She sent me some great fishing pics. 'Gotta respect FReeper anglers... we're a special breed.
YAY! Good choice!!!
Well tomorrow I am going to search for an inexpensive DSl cheaper than the $35.95 that sprint and others charge, and I will then feel like I can keep up with the big kids.
I caught a nice small mouth on my six weight and a copper bead head. The tough part was babying her so I wouldnt snap my leader. (I dont use tippet for Bass)I was bragging to my dad about it and when I told him the fish was a shade under 12 inches he scoffed and said "Down here(south florida) that would be bait!" His next picture to me was some 10 inch foo-foo looking yellow fish that would like right at home getting a manicure or something..Bait indeed!
Way to go Bahbah!!! Lots of great information and logical reasoning today.
Okay
I have a fishing story.....
I took my kids camping- the first time in voer 5 years....
My oldest is a boy- 16, he was off with his friends....
My two girls- 5 and 6 and I were fishing. They were casting well, we weren't doing much more than just feeding the fish some wormds.. then the youngest's bobber goes striaght down. We start yelling, "Reel it in! Reel it in!" She's five- so she starts to try to reel. Her face is all scrunched up- she's using ALL hre might, but she doesn't have that circular motion down. so she pushes REAL hard up, and it stops. Then real hard down, and it stops... picture this... it is more of a triangle with LONG pauses.... my 6 year old leaps OVER me- grabs the rod and reals that sucker RIGHT IN! It is a crappy- about 4 inched!!! LOL!
How very lovely, dutchess. We love our parents and honor them. Whatever flaws me may perceive, it is family that keeps us strong. We keep talking, and not talking when it serves no purpose, and loving them.
Thanks again. I really dont know what to say. Most of what I know about current events, I garnered from this thread. Sunday morning on FR has the most informative, insightful, and funny people around. The media and the politcos could learn a thing from you guys! Thanks for your kind opinion, and once again, God Save the Queen!!
Not sure how my fly set up would do with Bass since I've never tried it. I got into fly fishing in the Rockies and just stuck with it. To be honest, I've caught more fish fly fishing than I ever did with a reel. Not enough reel fishing, I'm sure. Or, without using a fish finder. LOL
Yeah, yeah... Rodguy was harassing me about bait earlier too. Sheesh! I'm not even sure I WANT to fish for something that is large enough to eat me!!!
Congratulations, what a helluva job, and excellent show prep for Rush,Sean,Tony,Brit,Etc. Sunday Freepers are the best. If It does not get talked about here on the Sunday Talk Show thread, it will be soon enough. What happens in freeperland does not stay in freeperland! LOL!
Great story!!
God Save the Queen!!
Or something that looks like a friggin parrot!
Thanks! I am not the least bit biased! LOL!
Don't bash Rodguy... He can't help how he looks.
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou
I am honored to be in such great company. I'd like to thank my mother....
Oh, wrong acceptance speech! But she really did turn me on to politics at a very young age.
I went to a special memorial Mass and get-together this afternoon, and when a classmate from 50 years ago asked me what I was doing in my retirement, I told him I was multi-tasking. LOL!
A word I learned on FR this morning! Perhaps on this very thread!
LOL! Fish trash talk is the best! I would love to go Tarpon fishing down Rodguys way. My dad in Boynton beach has a boat and goes out on the salt often. I make fun of his foo-foo looking fish, but yellowtail snapper is darn good eating. And Im not sure I could handle a grouper getting on my six weight!
