All I'll need is my 6 weight rod, right? The biggest problem I can think of is my waders may not be long enough to stand in the Gulfstream.

It was interesting with the two Wallaces.
I particularly enjoyed how Chris had to "explain" to his dad what we think about the msm,he knew but didn't dare say it.
The secret is out! There's a new sheriff in town and both the wallaces know who it is.

I just got back from Wally World and Home Depot, not for the faint of Heart on Sunday. Lets see if you can catch a Bull Dolphin tomorrow and you will be eating good for weeks. I love Dolphin because there are no bones except for the big bone you filet away from, and they do not smell fishy. Um, good eating, and low calorie.

Well, welcome to the Sunday Forum thread. There is usually more comments on the various news shows, but it's also a time when we can get our thoughts and opinions together so either way it's a good time for all.

I hear you got some good bass fishing in MO though.

Indeed. There are a lot of rivers and creeks near my house, and quite few lakes. We catch a lot of smallies here, but I have caught some nice largemouth in a lake near my house. I had just cast off a boat ramp when my cell phone rang, I cradled the phone and began my retreive, when my soon to be wife, (who thought I was at the store) said, "you're fishing arent you?" in that your-supposed-to-be-at-the-store-voice. Right then one jumped on. I reeled in a 5 lb largemouth while insisting to my wife I really was on my way to the store. I caught the fish, showed it to two other guys further down the shore who watched in horror as I released her. Washed my hands in the lake, tossed my rod in the truck, and drove to Schuncks to pick up the food for our wedding guests who were assembling at our house the next day, all in about 40 mins. I have been a Bass fan ever since. True story..

I loved it. I look forward to it now. LOL!

It's great to see so many talented folks come together, and the comedic value to boot. PERFECT for me! I love to learn, rant, and laugh!

I did indeed and hear come the awards

3. Macia. Well Done! :-) Some very deep insightful posts today. #235 Funny how Press always finds some reason to trash the Pres when he goes out of the Country. #206 "Brain suffering whiplash" from all the Dems spin. 469, Why Reid has his Rule 21 hissy fit this week. #438 Soc Sec is the Govt cash cow, THAT is why reformed failed. Right on, I would just add failed THIS time. This is NOT going way as an issue. #271 Maggie Wilson is a Clinton Linch pin.

2. Cardinal4. Very tough choice. Excellent Job Card. #14 Left has done a good job of media manipulation. #90 Clinton National Security papers all very securely located at the National Archives, just ask Sandy Burgler about it. #228 Analysis of Able Danger. #391 Why no reporting on riots in gay Paree? #381 Hairplugs SHOULD be a disqualification for the Presidency! #149 Kennedy in Denial. #170 Dems hopes on Iraq false since Iraq will be self sustaining by 2008. #138 "Biden is the epitome of an empty suit" 170, 198, @293,and a bunch of others. Well Done! Made it very tough to choose today!

Yes, his heart was not in his anti-admin comments today! Must have had a late night last night, or did not get the talking points in time.

Well maybe I will wish hard enough for a good easterly wind and the Bull Dolphins will just jump into the boat on their Democrat imitating suicide mission. LOL! I am still having problems with the server because one of the two dialup numbers is down for maintainance, and the Snowbirds are back from Indiana and the Midwest overloading the lines. I cannot use spell check or preview, it comes up blank and does not post at all unless I go straight to post.

I WILL!!! Of course, that means I have to be going that way and it's kind of hard getting me out of the Rocky Mountains. LOL We had a pontoon boat in Kansas for bass fishing, once upon a time. Bass are fun too but I've only used spinners on them, not fly fishing. My little 6 weight is okay for trout but not sure how well it would do with larger fish. (As Rodguy being SO NASTILY pointed out. Bait, indeed.)

ooooh! Dial up! I am so sorry.....

No wonder you have been wanting to bust things...

It's hard enough to deal with dial-up, let alone with server probs.....

Bless you.

Agreed. I think it's frustration on our part. Some people are concerned that we not doing enough or being stronger in defending, while attacking, the left. Sometimes I think it's just a matter of some people wanting to vent more than really complaining that much.

I really liked the Wallace/Wallace interview. All politics aside, it was a father/son thing and quite touching. Chris would jump in and continue the interview when he saw his dad's mind wandering. It was quite tender.

I'm glad to read this as I always find your comments thoughtful BUT on target here (I am a faithful lurker every Sunday) Was TV impaired until tonight and watched the replay ready to be disgusted (as I am NO fan of Mike Wallace once I gave up with 60Minutes) ...but I too found it very touching. My 83 year old die hard democrat dad (still living in the pre-abortion other activism stuff) lives with us. He is so sweet but so stubborn. We just don't talk politics. I actually walked away tonight with more insight...understanding and respect for both sides. They are who they are. (AND....I think I see a definite new side to Chris Wallace. He definately challenged his father's legacy...but the love is there on both sides)
