I really liked the Wallace/Wallace interview. All politics aside, it was a father/son thing and quite touching. Chris would jump in and continue the interview when he saw his dad's mind wandering. It was quite tender.

I'm glad to read this as I always find your comments thoughtful BUT on target here (I am a faithful lurker every Sunday) Was TV impaired until tonight and watched the replay ready to be disgusted (as I am NO fan of Mike Wallace once I gave up with 60Minutes) ...but I too found it very touching. My 83 year old die hard democrat dad (still living in the pre-abortion other activism stuff) lives with us. He is so sweet but so stubborn. We just don't talk politics. I actually walked away tonight with more insight...understanding and respect for both sides. They are who they are. (AND....I think I see a definite new side to Chris Wallace. He definately challenged his father's legacy...but the love is there on both sides)

How very lovely, dutchess. We love our parents and honor them. Whatever flaws me may perceive, it is family that keeps us strong. We keep talking, and not talking when it serves no purpose, and loving them.
