Was Kerry covered by some sort of Senate privilegeNo, but Senators seem to be our royalty. While they constantly intone that no one is above the law, they believe they are, and with good reason from what I see. For another example, Harry Reid has admitted accessing raw FBI files of a judge and that is forbidden.

Well! Today's interview on MTP will show that all the popcorn-and-a-movie/new-'tone'-in-Washington crap that bush tried will pay some dividends with teddy.
NOT!

Iggy Pop sums it up for me:
Say Ta
Eisenhower saw the thing
He said this is sickening
I swear I saw the very thing
I saw it in America
Let's play safe
I never knew how
How to play safe
You told me how
How to play safe
A thousand times
I don't believe in fairies any more
Today I saw a very very thing
But that's another song
You're too simple minded
Let's play it safe
What do we have in common?
Play it safe
What do we have in common?
Play it safe
I want to be a criminal
Play it safe

The Dems will say Bush had "updated intel" that showed, yada, yada, yada, and then point to one and only one discredited source as if they would have been the only source for the information.

It is too bad. You know Coburn is going to be treated roughly by Russert, while Kennedy will get the kid gloves treatment.
I look forward to the day when Kennedy finally has too few remaining brain cells to keep up appearances, and becomes obviously incoherent and uncontrollable on national TV. I hope he's also massively falling-down drunk, and his handlers have to come get him off the set. I think it's been close before, but they've always managed to get him off before it got to that point.

Hagel on Alito: "I will vote for him enthusiastically..."
Since Ben Nelson rushed to be the first to invite Alito to his office on the Hill and said very nice things about him, it seems we can count on both Hagel and Nelson to confirm Alito.
Ka-ching!
FReepers, write your senators. It really helps.

I want to clip Kennedy's earlobe off. He just said the Constitution was written basically to protect our privacy.

Just for laughs, and inbetween watching Sunday morning preachers and animal shows, I clicked past Fox News Sunday and SURE enough, they were harping harping harping on how unpopular President Bush is, how unpopular President Bush is, how unpopular president Bush is.
Even more sickening, they had John McCain, the soft spoken lunatic, as a guest.
FOX news has become a liberal network, simply and wimply repeating all the liberal loser stories of the day, and then commenting.
Sure, there are one or two shows which are balanced and bearable, but 95 percent of Fox Sucks big time.

She said it didnt make a difference because he proved Bush a liar. Tell her she needs to read the BIPARTISAN Senate Intelligence Committee report. She is obviously listening to lefties for her comments and doesn't really know what she is talking about. It proves that Pres. Bush didn't lie, Joe Wilson did. For Pres. Bush to have lied so did the British government, numerous Presidential candidates, Senators, Congressmen, etc. etc.
June 12, 2003 A Washington Post article quotes an envoy (Wilson ) as saying that the dates were wrong and the names were wrong on the Italian document determined to be forged by the IAEA. (" CIA Did Not Share Doubt
, Washington Post, June 2003). Wilson later tells the Senate Intelligence Committee that he may have misspoken to reporters, thinking he had seen the documents himself, rather than reading about them secondhand. (Senate Intelligence Cmte., Iraq 44).
July 6, 2003 Wilson publishes " What I didnt find in Africa" in The New York Times, identifying himself for the first time as the unnamed envoy. He writes, I have little choice but to conclude that some of the intelligence related to Iraq 's nuclear weapons program was twisted to exaggerate the Iraqi threat. Wilson does not mention that he learned there was a possibility Iraq had sought uranium during a 1999 trade meeting with Niger s former Prime Minister.

"these liberals needing and wanting to know INTEL they cannot get their hands upon."
Well since you brought it up....Let's talk about something they should want to know. When Dusty Harry and his hand puppet from Ill. Dirty Little Dick Durbin shut the Senate down the other day I was wondering whether or not they might be demanding to know more about Able Danger.
Since they are so concerned about why we went to war, maybe they care about what could have possibly stopped 911 from ever happening.
LT. Col. Tony Shaffer is now in the process of being dumped and probably fired by the DOD. This is a true outrage. What is his crime? Through a process called Data Mining" , gathering intel by using super computers he and his group successfully located a terrorist cell that referenced Mohammad Atta in NYC.
He tried in vain to get the info to the right govt. agency-- CIA or FBI but was stopped three times and finally told by a ranking Gen. above his randk to stop in no uncertain terms.
Maybe this is the outrage that caused Dusty and Little Dick to close the govt. It should have been.
Now it's time for out govt. leaders,in addition to congressman Kurt Weldon and Sen Spector, to get in line and demand that a thorough investigation, forget about this scooter, delay BS, be done and find out why a wall of lawyers were installed to prevent info from flowing that could have prevented the largest terrorist attack to hit our shores in modern time. But don't hold your breath.

You don't understand. Reid borrowed the FBI files from Hillary and didn't have to go to the FBI office to check them out. My guess is Hillary has a delivery service for them for a small fee.
To: Bahbah
For another example, Harry Reid has admitted accessing raw FBI files of a judge and that is forbidden. Got a link for this? That could be really useful if we can get it into the right hands.

I haven't watched Chris Wallace lately, but he starts off his questioning of John McCain with these fudged poll numbers. I expect that out of the MSM not a FNC personality.

There is little that we don't complain about here that doesn't get heard. How many times have we talked about weekend programming that is sooo bad.
