SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The uniform of a San Francisco police officer caught fire after a Molotov cocktail was hurled near as an anti-Bush protest Wednesday afternoon in downtown San Francisco.
A large crowd made its way from the Civic Center down Market Street, blocking traffic during the afternoon commute.
"My partner and I are standing here monitoring the crowd and all of a sudden I heard glass breaking, and the bottle apparently hit right there and gasoline spilled and the next thing I know my shoulder is on fire," police officer Gary Constantine told television station KRON.
Just when it looked like the protest was wrapping up in the evening, some protesters sat down in the middle of a busy intersection to block more traffic. The group refused police requests to disperse so they were arrested at the scene, according to police.
A large sign unfurled in front of City Hall read: "Bush step down. Take your whole program with you."
Waaaaaahhhhhh! Liberals are in denial.
Wow. Liberals resorting to Muslim tactics...
I wonder what the numbers in the "large crowd" were. The NAGS were only able to cobble about 20 to show in DC at their anti-Alito rally this week.
LOL..the rats are goin' dowwwwwwwwwwwwwn! BUAHAHAHAHHA
Treason
Shades of Gay Paree'
"The group refused police requests to disperse so they were arrested at the scene, according to police."
Typical example of Liberal Narcissistic Martyrdom, or LNM, as I call it. These guys want to pretend that they're "righteous martyrs" who are being "persecuted" and that they are standing up for free speech, that they intentionally break the law so they'll be arrested. Makes them feel righteous and heroic.
What balogna.
yep.
Pray for W and Our Troops
...give peace a chance, in San Francisco.
They must have had a bad Halloween.
Hopefully they can catch the perps that did this. Leave it to the left to resort to violence to try to get their way.
It sounds like attempted murder of a police officer to me.
Wonder if they caught anyone?
Wonder when this will make it on CNN?
Should I hold my breath waiting for it to happen?
"...cocktails in the Castro District."
You know, I could put a slight twist on that and get my reply deleted pretty quick.
There are not ten good men in San Fransisco anymore.
Cordon it off, dig a fire trench around it, blow up the
water pump plants and burn the whole damned
Sodomite town and all it's inhabitants, down to the
ground again.
Plus they like getting a free meal in jail. I doubt any of them have jobs.
