Items About Areas That Could Break Out Into War
November 1, 2005: France is burning. For most of the last week, there have been nasty riots in the Parisian suburb of St Denis, complete with fires and many casualties. This area is home to about 500,000 Moslems. Many largely Moslem suburbs of Paris, and other large cities, have become no-go zones for the police, and anyone who is not of Middle Eastern origin. Over the last three decades, generous social benefits and immigration policies have left France with a Moslem population of some five million (about eight percent of the population.) High rise housing for them was built on the outskirts of major cities. Most of these Moslems did not try to assimilate, and by maintaining their old country culture and language, they made it more difficult for their kids to get jobs. Among the old school customs practiced is attacking, and even murdering, girls who do not conform to a "Moslem" style of behavior. While jobs may be lacking, crime and social welfare payments are not. So peop! le can live without jobs, and make a little extra with some crime on the side. But when you have a lot of people participating in, or just condoning, criminal behavior, you have a very dangerous place for outsiders. Officially, the government condemns this sort of "profiling," but a look at crime statistics shows that high rates of robbery, murder and rape tend to coincide with Moslem areas. There are unofficial maps on the Internet, where French citizens can check about where not to get lost the next time they go for a drive.
Meanwhile, the high crime rates in the Moslem neighborhoods has been spilling over into non-Moslem areas, and there has been a major outbreak of anti-Semitic attacks on Jews, and Jewish targets (synagogues, cemeteries, Etc.). It's not only become embarrassing for the government, but it's become a political issue. So the Interior Ministry has established special police units to try and reduce the crime rate in the Moslem areas. That has led to the recent rioting, arson, injuries, and advice by French traditionalists to just ignore the French Moslems. Leave them alone. Ignore them. Just like France has been doing for decades. Let the counter-terrorism police take care of any hotheads. But for the moment, the Interior Ministry is run by law-and-order types, and they are determined to at least own the streets in Moslem areas. So France burns.
I think we are a way's off from open Muslim insurrection as in Paris, but with an immigration-leftist President hell-bent on importing Islam into our homeland as fast as he can, to the tune of 100,000 new muslim aliens yearly, we're certainly headed for more Islamification of our culture.
Sort of like the way you can talk to an American about our problem with illegal immigrants but you'd have a hard time finding a single election in which it was a major issue, right?

Do we? The "1/3 of all births" claim cites vague "other estimates," as in my experience all such reports do. One could argue that the violence and sociopathy in the Arab suburbs there is not as bad as in mostly black inner cities here, which we have survived for decades. (Although it may admittedly be that the trend in France is for the worse.)
But there is still the whole question of assimilation. Just as inner-city Detroit is not black America, the suburbs where these riots are occurring may not be Arab France. IIRC Clemenza once described his experience of a Paris full of, judging by the way they dress, fully assimilated young Arab women.
I agree that there are troubling signs. The combination of no job creation, the popularity of the jihad ideology and the ease with which a rebellion mindset can spread is an explosrive combination. OTOH France is a first-world country after all. But the inability to get enough reliable data to study the problem means, in my view, that we know very little about Islam in Europe.
It is true that, based on what I have seen, there are alot of non-religious Arabs in France. Whether that means they are assimilating or are merely taking up an ethnic/ghetto is another question.

I agree with you 100%. My only complaint about France in that respect is that their government is utterly hypocritical about the way they do whatever the hell they want anywhere they please (the Greenpeace travesty in Australia is a perfect example of this), while at the same time insisting that countries like the U.S. and Great Britain refrain from military action without "international consensus."
As a member of the U.S. Military I demand we have a clear exit strategy before taking any action... ;)
The U.S. also has some interesting demographic characteristics when you look at these Muslims by their country of origin. Christians actually outnumber Muslims among immigrants to the U.S. from the Middle East.
I quit saving links to articles last year and I'm almost sorry that I have because no we don't pay them to sit around, instead we pay them to buy out 7-11 type businesses and motels by giving them a down payment and the first few months we'll assist them with the mortgage payments.
This enables them to support mom and dad from the old country who make certain that customs aren't violated.
This isn't something we do for American citizens is it? IIRC, this was one of Hatch's ideas and away it went. We give illegals the down and first mortgage payment on new home purchases.
This multicultural diversity crap has extended to the schools where our kids dress up in foreign attire and 'learn the customs' of the other countries. The things they don't learn is wife beating, growing opium, terrorism, at least not in public schools. That is a voluntary after hour class, I'm sure.
Sure this takes away from learning our history and the foundations of America, but that's nothing to be concerned with because we'll be changing much, much faster sooner than we want to.
To me this is terrorism because the old folks have no intention of becoming Americans or assimilating in the slightest manner. Our style of government has become subserviant to these people.
O'Conner was saying that we must take into consideration foreign customs when enacting and enforcing our laws. Remember when Kofi had his sit down with the USSC. I will bet you my left leg, the good one, that the sit down was where she got these warped ideas. It was an unprecendented meeting.
We have UN observers watching our voting procedures. Why, I'll bet the other leg, it's not worth much except for balance that they aren't doing it to learn independence from their government or the UN. This is where the unverified citizenship voter ideas come from. Sure let visitors vote in our Presidential elections, good idea!

Up that figure a couple more million like say from about 4.1 to 5.8 Million...and supposedly growing. According to Britannica (2001) it puts the figure to around 4.1 million; the World Almanac (2001) puts the figure to about 5.8 million. The Jewish Kosmin study (2001) has it to less then 3 million. Muslim studies in the US (2004) have it reaching to about 7 million. More then likely Britannica and the World Almanac figures would be closest to the correct answer. But that was five years ago. Who knows what its figure is now.
You honestly believe that Muslim riots will never happen in America? There are certain areas in Michigan that come to mind already. Could you have imagined the capability of Muslims to take over airplanes and take out the World Trade Center before 911? Our airline industry still hasn't recovered. Don't underestimate your enemy. ALL of the Moslem countries at one time were free of this menace. Their modus operandi is to come in as peaceful citizens, until they outnumber you. Then watch out. This death cult is an enemy to be reckoned with on many levels. I agree that hopefully there are enough aware citizens left in the U.S. that they will never be successful. But to think they won't make strides is naive.
