OPERATION HERO is spreading word of a planned picket by Westboro Baptist Church
during the memorial service of Seargent Evan Seam Parker.
Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church will be picketing during the
funeral service for Sgt. Evan Seam Parker on Wednesday, November 2 in South Haven, KS.
This anti-Troops/anti-war "liberal" hate group will be protesting
from 1pm - 2pm outside the High School where services are being held.
The funeral service is scheduled to begin at 2pm, so Fred and his protestors are
purposely protesting during the time when most people will be arriving for the services themselves.

My tiny home town in KS lost one of our own, Sergeant Evan Parker, 25,
died Oct 26th from shrapnel head & neck wounds rec'd in Iraq.

We just got word today that Fred Phelps (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/keyword?k=fredphelps )
plans to protest the war at the funeral this Wednesday.

Do you have suggestions on how to counter &/or turn out a huge number of active & reserve troops?
Anita and the whole town are upset, just don't need to see these protesters at the funeral of her son.

2.A. A GROUP FROM WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH (WBC) LOCATED IN TOPEKA, KANSAS HAS PROTESTED OR IS PLANNING TO PICKET AND PROTEST AT PUBLIC FUNERALS OF PERSONNEL KILLED IN THE WAR ON TERRORISM. THIS GROUP HAS REPORTEDLY ANNOUNCED VIA THEIR WEBSITE THAT THEY INTEND TO PROTEST FUNERALS IN ALABAMA, CALIFORNIA, DELAWARE, IOWA, IDAHO, ILLINOIS, KANSAS, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA, WISCONSIN, AND WEST VIRGINIA.

2.B. THERE IS NO INFORMATION TO INDICATE THAT THIS GROUP PLANS ANY FORM OF VIOLENT ACTIVITY AND THEY ARE NOT KNOWN TO INITIATE PHYSICAL CONTACT. HOWEVER, THIS GROUP DOES EMPLOY PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE TECHNIQUES INTENDED TO PROVOKE A HOSTILE RESPONSE OR OFFENSIVE REACTION FROM OTHERS. This breaks my heart. I'm so angry. Those who call themselves protesters, at a funeral are most vicious, heartless of people. The feelings inside of them are deadened, coldblooded or they are just plain evil. All they set out to do is to create more misery and pain of families who are already suffering and grieving. Could you amplify on that, please? I've been familiar with Phelps only through his anti-gay agitation, which has always been overwrought and extreme. I'm not understanding this kind of behavior at all. This only proves the hatred those on the left have deep within themselves. I believe the police should keep these low life scum blocks away from the church. This soldier and all those like him/her deserve our respect. They died so that vile scum like the protestors could have free speech but they only want to support free speech when it is them who are saying vile things. It's sickening how they behave at what should be a dignified send off, but remember the son of the Senator who died in the plane crash? I haven't had my mornin jo yet so the name is escaping me at the moment but I just sat at the tv screen with my mouth gaped open, utterly appalled. This is astonishing. First the man and his minions picket the funerals of murder victims, and while criticism of their lifestyles is legitimate, they didn't deserve what they got. And now he's gloating about the death of young men and women who died while sacraficing themselves for others. What will he do next, picket the funerals of children?

I want to thank you so much for all your support and love. To see your thoughts and good work is very comforting to me and my family.

The Patriot Guard did a fabulous job at Sgt. Parker's funeral services. Our family could not hear the meaningless ramblings of the protesters.
