It's an adult crime. The Scumbag should do adult time.
It's OK. He was just practicing a wrestling move he saw on TV. Unfortunate, but no crime was committed.
In which state did this happen?
What's a 15 year old doing in an elementary school? Oh wait, public schooling, right?
No mention of the sex of the offender, no mention of race. What happened to decent reporting.
The story doesn't say which state, but it must be Alabama.
Wonder if those people who decried the use of a Taser on a schoolboy armed with a shard of glass will be showing up on this thread?
Its been reported that the woman was working after hours in the school and was by herself.
I'm sure hate-crime charges will be filed any time now.....
Guess the perp figured it was a sure bet that the victim was unarmed and probably knew that she was alone inside.
I'm sure the attacker was a good kid at heart and that there were underlying reasons for this.
The teenager could be charged as an adult.
***
"Could be?" He had better be.
Could be charged as an adult???? COULD BE?????????????????
Someone I know taught at a public school in Birmingham, AL. One of the students was out on parole for armed robbery, another would expose himself to the class, her purse was stolen. IIRC, one student brought a gun to class.
She quit, lest she end up like this poor woman, and the State of Alabama yanked her teaching certificate for two years for breaking her contract.
She was quite happy to take a job that paid less as a secretary for a private company.
That's one big 15 year-old. Wonder how much height/weight advantage he had over the teacher?
Tell me again, why would any sane person want to be a teacher when the laws currently are structured to bring about this type of a result.
This problem is only aggravated by the NEA that is populated at the top by types that promote keeping incompetants in our schools while at the same time, promoting laws that weaken our educational system.
This is an example of what happens when kids that have obvious mental problems are kept in the system and not incarcerated in an institution.
"The unidentified teenager is being held at a detention center in Lauderdale County."
Wow. Really glad they are protecting the constitutional rights of this young fellow. It might warp his psychy if his name ever got out (sarcasm).
Crimes like this are what hemp rope nooses were invented for. Too bad we have lost this ancient skill.
Thank goodness the SCOTUS has ruled that this child can't be executed for his "bad decision" to rob and murder this first grade teacher.
