ABCNEWS TELLS WHITE HOUSE OF 'INDICTMENT' Tue Oct 25 2005 19:08:02 ET
"We have double sourced that the vice president's chief of staff has been indicted," a reporter for ABCNEWS claimed to a White House press spokesman this afternoon.
The White House refused to comment on the claim. The network said they didn't need comment, they were preparing to run with the development on this evening's network news broadcast, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS claimed to the White House that it had double sourced how an indictment against vice presidential chief of staff I. Lewis Libby was set.
A senior White House source quickly determined ABC was bluffing; the report did not run on the East coast feed of the program.

ABC NEWS spokesman Jeff Schneider tells the DRUDGE REPORT: "There is nothing at all true about us having double sourced anything" regarding indictments.

No. In fact I was posting on FR that day mocking those who fell apart and told them to keep perspective.
The war on terror will have good days and bad days, great days and worse days. Folding like a house of cards (which was not uncommon that day) is worse than the actual election loss.
We win some, we lose some. Ebb & flow. The goal remains the same. Nobody in the coalition is a prisoner - they can leave when they want.
It's not so much whether that was a good day or a bad day. Falling apart is always bad, and that's my main point.
I'm praying that pubs are feeding the hapless media all kinds of false leads to put the final stake in their Black hearts!!!
It just fricken amazes me how an investigation into "illegal" leaks, has so many illegal leaks about the investigation!!!
So much for confidentiality of Grand Jury information!!
In any case, I take this with a huge grain of salt because the media has lied so often about so many things, they have no credibility whatsoever.
