Moscow, October 5, Interfax - The russian communists will organize mass protests if authorities go ahead with a decision to bury Lenin and tear down the Mausoleum near the Kremlin wall.

"We will hold actions of civic disobedience and will not let such things happen," Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov said at a press conference.

Zyuganov said that the communists are holding a referendum on the issue and have already gathered 4,5 Mln signatures.

Zyuganov said that 26 public organizations back the Communists'' statement against any eventual burial of Lenin''s body. "We have enough wisdom and will to defend our history and sanctuaries," Zyuganov said.

The only way there'll be a riot is if DU hears about it.

I am against the burial of Lenin as well. I think they should cremate the SOB, and then encase the ashes in concrete and send it to the bottom of the Marianas trench.

"We have enough wisdom and will to defend our history and sanctuaries," Zyuganov said.

To bad the communists didn't have the wisdom and will to defend the history and sanctuaries of those they destroyed before the communist revolution.

I was just watching a show on the History Channel on How Canadians helped the Communists in Russia with the design of their Migs.

If it were up to me I'd cremate his body and scatter the ashes over the communist protesters using a crop duster.

I'm all for Russian pride, but what they need right now are new heros - not nostalgia.

Next time I am doing the Fremont pub crawl, I'll be relieving myself on that hideous statue.

Sorry I don't remember the particulars. There is a statue of Lennin in Seattle?

The Communism in the USSR had much in common with Anicent Egypt: starting with government property for any production facility and ending with a pyramid with a mummy inside.

I don't believe in any massive disorders because of possible Lenin's burial. Just think how wierd the present situation is. Who would want otherwise?

They have stopped admitting public inside the mausleum. Now take the next step - bury him.
