I've heard that....but I've not looked at it that closely.

I was involved in fighting the IFC. To date it was a success.

I've not put much effort in fighting this one. There aren't as many families from Flight 93 on board with it.

Not watching. We could 'watch' it being built before anyone realizes that nothing was changed and then be told it's too late now. I think it's time to contact and keep contacting representatives and senators. Inundate them. After all, 'embrace of reconsiliation' implies that somehow the victims once again are at fault and must 'forgive' and 'understand'. I guess we are supposed to reconcile ourselves to being murdered? Call your congressman, senator, find out what is going on. Don't just watch!

I love it!

They have a lot of "FReeper-like" members- witty, sarcastic, and analytical. They must be hitting the target, because they are attracting return fire- have their own trolls & disruptors.

If the "comments" section has many replies, you can usually find some good quotes and useful links, too.

I still stand by my originally formulated concept for the Shanksville memorial...

A large bronze cross and a large bronze star of David resting upon granite or marble monolith pedestals inscribed with the names of the Christian and the Jewish victims - to be facing each other at angles...

Between them, to commemorate the rough-and-ready, non-religiously affiliated uniquely American spirit of capitalistic entrepreneurship...

A large bronze of the symbolic American Freedom Machine - a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and leather-jacket clad rider - also mounted on an enormous monolith, crossed flagpoles behind the bike, with Old Glory on one standard, "Don't Tread on Me!" on the other, and an American Bald Eagle launching into flight from the handlebars.

{Tell me the BigWigs at Harley Davidson motorcycle wouldn't underwrite THAT!!!}

Sole Inscription on an oversized brass plaque to read, "Let's Roll!"
