Two men arrested under OU campus
The Norman Transcript ^ | October 21, 2005 | Transcript Staff

Two Norman men face felony charges after allegedly breaking into a tunnel under the University of Oklahoma campus to get into a building on the South Oval.

Christopher Thomas Boyce, 24, and James Kent Eldridge, 20, were charged Thursday in Cleveland County District Court with conspiracy to commit burglary and second-degree burglary.

According to an affidavit, a witness saw Boyce and Eldridge entering an underground tunnel system by cutting the locks to a manhole cover in the 1100 block of Asp Avenue. Police said the pair then opened a perimeter door and entered Richards Hall, where they removed a "stoppered glass vial."

- do you have anything on "James Kent Eldridge", or Eldrige anything in OK state?

That doesn't ring a bell- but let me check in the morning, we'll see.

The Dreyling case sets off more alarms to me. Finding explosives in his room/apt? Does this sound familiar? I think the Muslims are playing the youth at OU for fools (Of course they don't have to play them very hard as they pretty much have a head start anyway).

Thanks! You're a national treasure. I do not know how you keep so many links accessible and searchable but I salute you as a great American! Sorry no hugs - the salute will have to do. ;-)

SSEC at OU appears to have dismantled it's listserv through OU in February of 2004.
See this post:
http://lists.ou.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0402&L=ssec-l&F=P&S=&P=512

Someone replied saying it had been "nothing more than a listserv for years..."
http://lists.ou.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0402&L=ssec-l&F=P&S=&P=589

I will research more to see if it changed or another newer list was created. But it appears the group is no longer active.

Very interesting. Something is very wrong at that school.

It strikes me as odd that we have a FReeper named Metesky. Do you remember George Metesky, the Mad Bomber of NYC?

That's some post, considering the date.

Want to see a funny coincidence?

This doesn't mean anything in regards to the OU Bombing or this case, but in my research I was led back here to FR... Granted, they are talking about the infamous Chris Boyce (the spy whom Falcon and the Snowman was based)...

Here it is the post I ran across from 2001:
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3b3d8e767823.htm#157
Seems a man named Homenick was the agent from the U.S. Marshalls service who captured, and re-captured Chris Boyce. He was most recently (2001) in charge of security for McVeigh's trial in Denver.

LOL!

I think it was these two . . . note the distinctive Norman haircut with the back of the head shaved bare.

The two guys you gave the mug shot of are Saxon, in the forefront of the English formation that received the first charge of William's cavalry.

I bow to your superior scholarship.

I was more interested in speed than accuracy (hello Google Image Search)

Well, I already had the Bayeux Tapestry website bookmarked, and recognized your two alleged perps from the first battle scene . . .

. . . proving (I suppose) that a history degree with a specialty in English history and military history is not ENTIRELY wasted . . .

. . . but don't try to earn a living with it . . .

That's funny.

BTW, if PhiKapMom is a little late rolling in, it's because of the OU game. I've been sweating them out, through two OT's against Baylor, but the Sooner Nation prevailed, 37-30!!!!! Booommmmer Soooooonner!

However, my baseball team lost to the Chisox, but we have several more games to go and tickets to make good, lol.

LOL... Congrats to OU's football team. Sounds like it was a tough game! (o:

I'm a die-hard Cubs fan so it's hard for me to get excited about the Sox! LOL

That's a good idea. My guess is that they already know about the connections (the kids's dad esp.) and that's why they aren't elaborating further... But, it's still worth a try! (o: I'll write some of them tonight/tomorrow. Perhaps Ch. 9's Tamara Pratt would be interested - she seemed to be doing the best investigating in the OU case...

Good idea. I had phone problems yesterday (I have dial-up) and am just now getting back online, so I hope this story gets revealed somehow!
