From the Inside Flap
Un·hinged
adj : affected with madness or insanity; [syn: brainsick, crazy, demented, distracted, disturbed, mad, sick, unbalanced]
- The American Heritage Dictionary
*** Warning: Unhinged liberals are hazardous to the nations health.
Theyre slashing your tires. Burning your lawns. Heaving pies at Republican pundits. Hurling racist epithets at minority conservatives. Nursing nutty conspiracy theories. And pining publicly for the murder of President Bush.
And they call us crazy?
In Unhinged: Liberals Gone Wild, Michelle Malkin plays conservative Margaret Mead to the alien political creatures of the American Left. With uproarious detail and rollicking reportage, Malkin chronicles the bizarre world of leftists gone mad in their natural habitats: the mainstream media, academia, Hollywood, and Washington.
Unhinged unmasks liberals whove completely abandoned rationality and reality. Theyre taking chainsaws and bayonets to campaign signs. Running down political opponents with their cars. Setting fire to political opponents in effigy. Defacing war memorials. Swiping yellow ribbons off cars. And supporting the fragging of American troops.
In Unhinged, youll meet:
- The Top 10 Unhinged Leftists, Celebrities, Media Liberals, and Politicians. - The Pennsylvania Democrat who repeatedly screamed "faggot" at his Republican opponents on the Senate floor. - The Florida Democrat who tried to run down former Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris with his Cadillac. - The Democrat congressman who claimed the capture of Saddam Hussein was staged by GOP operatives to help the Bush re-election campaign. - The veteran newsman who claimed that Bush advisor Karl Rove and Osama bin Laden are working hand-in-hand to help the Republican Party. - And hundreds more unhinged liberals gone wild!
With wit, wisdom, and a bullet-proof vest, Michelle Malkin ruthlessly and raucously skewers the myths of liberal tolerance, peace, and civility. Unhinged shows how conservatives are driving their opponents mad. The good news for liberals? Self-help starts here.

She has never cried over an election, marched naked in Berkeley, thrown a pie, or tackled a liberal heckler. Yet.
Sounds like Churchill.
Ditto.
Thanks for the heads up, ajolympian2004.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
Thanks for the ping!
Wonderful post, takes the old standby 'if you are not liberal when you are young, you are missing a heart; and if you are not conservative when fully grown, you are missing a mind' and details it, beautifully.
Pictures here from Michelle's visit to Berkeley last year:
Did a conservative just goose that jackass. Looks like it by the look on his face. LOL
Thanks for the heads up.
Just put it on my must buy list.
Yes, I'm sure it was Churchill. "If you were not a liberal when you were young, I would think you had no heart. If you did not grow conservative as you grew older, I would think you had no brain." I think that's how it went.

He also said this:
Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth and easy, or that anyone who embarks on the strange voyage can measure the tides and hurricanes he will encounter. The statesman who yields to war fever must realize that once the signal is given, he is no longer the master of policy but the slave of unforeseeable and uncontrollable events.
Oh, please. What a foolish post..
Although often attributed to Churchill it was not something he said. http://www.winstonchurchill.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=112
Don't know who said it though.
Nope, see post 34.
Re-read my post, and go to the link. Churchill's actual quote does differ from what's usually attributed to him, but the quote I posted he did make.
That quote is from winston Churchill and he paraphrased it a number of ways. Here is one of the originals:
"When you're 20, you're a liberal with a heart, but when you're forty you're a conservative with a brain."

I wonder how many future David Horowitz's, Jay Severin's and Hitchens' are in that crowd.

But should she ever do so, I think we'd be obliged to salute.
