TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Police used tear gas to break up a rock-throwing crowd that had gathered to protest a planned march Saturday by the National Socialist Movement.
At least two dozen members of a Roanoke, Va.-based group that calls itself "America's Nazi Party" had gathered at Wilson Park just before noon and were to march under police protection.

Being arrested 22 times between the ages of 15 and 19 for "assault, weapons, explosives, property destruction, graffiti and use of false identification." doesn't say much for the intent of this being a "peaceful" protest.

Agree. The Foolkiller (FReeper who is reporting here from Toledo) will tell you that this demonstration was known about for 9/10 days and that there was much discussion about it on the Toledo forums during the days leading up to it. White knew exactly what he was doing and what the response would be. That's pretty sad. The locals did have support come in from out of town and that outside support is what kept them from ignoring the neo-nazis. Consequently, both sides have now pretty much declared war. I fear this will only spread to other parts of the country with major support eventually coming from Nation of Islam.

I can. There were outside agitators. They very well could have been brought in by White especially considering his rhetoric. If he did he may get caught as he made phonecalls to someone, anonymously, but used his own cellphone so he's not THAT bright. LOL
