TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Police used tear gas to break up a rock-throwing crowd that had gathered to protest a planned march Saturday by the National Socialist Movement.
At least two dozen members of a Roanoke, Va.-based group that calls itself "America's Nazi Party" had gathered at Wilson Park just before noon and were to march under police protection.

There are some reports that the other groups with the Nazis were handing eggs to agitated blacks.

The NSM promotes itself as America's Nazi Party and said that it was protesting black gangs, which it claimed were harassing white residents. The group said it had received support from Toledo's white citizens and community activists.
A spokesman for the group, Bill White, blamed the riot on Toledo police, saying the police intentionally changed the group's march route to make it collide with a counter-demonstration.
About 20 members from both the International Socialists Organization and One People's Project showed up, and some handed eggs to African-American residents to throw at the Nazi marchers, White said.
International Socialists Organization and One People's Project were NOT with the nazi wannabe group. These two groups are extreme leftist groups that hate the freaking nazi morons.

I think I've got it. A bunch of socialists (some like eggs, some like swastikas) all met in Toledo to celebrate Oktoberfest with the Poles at wonderful favorite neighborhood bar and a bunch of nasty black folks crashed the party. Some of the socialists wanted scrambled eggs instead of kraut and ribs and before anyone knew what happened, a fight broke out.
I guess I'm just not good at reading between the lines. Thank you for clearing this all up! Of course, if I've not got it right this time, I know I can count on you got set me straight.

All that's known for certain is that it started with a white man and his black female neighbor.
So whom do you choose to endowe the privilege of deciding what is acceptable and what is not? Jesse Jackson? Louis Farrakahn? Adolph Hitler? Fidel Castro? Joseph Stalin? Pol Pot? Ho Chi Minh? ...the list goes on and on, all you have to do is choose the decider.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. This was well publicized before hand and I think it was mostly outsiders and they invited Toledo as witnesses.
I read on another thread a post by an Ohioan that said he read posts in Michigan inviting outsiders to join in.
Bill White makes for interesting reading. It looks like he has his hands in more than one hate group instigating trouble. I bet he was hard at work for weeks before the march
