I just tried photobucket. I can't get there either.
FWIW, this is not a cache or browser problem. There is no connectivity between me and these sites. This is a network issue.
I work in this field. I know how to check these things.
Someone said there were fibre backbone outages for Verizon and Brighthouse. That would explain it.

If you are using WinXP (or Windows 2000), clear your DNS cache by typing the following in a 'DOS' (console) command prompt window:
IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS
Also check the folder WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc for a file called HOSTS (no extension). Open it with notepad or some other text editor and see if a browser hijacker has modified it.
